Our Care Coordinator presented this request after meeting with her client. She stated that this single mom of 4 is need of a crib for her baby girl who is 2 months old. She is not working currently, but is trying to find a job and maintain. Her daughter is growing out of basinett and stated that this was a major need for her. (Crib and matress)

You have helped this family before. A grandmother is taking care of her grandson due to her daughter having some cognitive comprehension problems. They moved from Buena Vista due to rent being expensive, among other reasons. Grandmother, daughter and grandson are staying with an elderly man. Her daughter is staying on the couch, the grandson has the room to himself and she is in her daughters room. The elderly man bought her a tiny house which she is fixing up, so her daughter can have her room back. She needs someone to put up insulation in her tiny home, so everyone can have their own room. If anyone is available to do this, free of charge, I know she would be grateful for this. (She has the insulation and needed materials).

• A loving grandmother and granddaughter are in need of support with clothing while they are looking for a new place to stay. As the seasons change and the teenage granddaughter has grown it has proven to be a challenge to make sure the clothes continue to fit appropriately. This family would be so grateful for any support with this while they navigate the next steps on a new place to live this would take a big burden off their shoulders. Some of their favorite places to shop are Walmart, target, Tj Maxx and Marshals gift cards to any of these stores would be more than appreciated.

A mother and her four children have been in supportive housing after exiting a domestic violence shelter last year. Mom is extremely motivated to find a job and not rely long term on public assistance, and ensures her kids are well taken care of, attend school, and have enjoyable experiences. Mom had to choose between bills this month and chose to pay registration and property tax fees for her car. As a result, she is unable to pay her phone bill this month. Mom and her kids use their phone bill benefits to call relatives out of state as they have no family nearby. Mom is confident in her ability to stay up to date with bills in future months as her government benefits cover monthly bills, but the fees associated with her car were higher than what she planned for. We truly appreciate your assistance in meeting this request, to ensure this family can stay in touch with their loved ones.

A family of a mother, step-father, and 3 children (9,6,1) is struggling financially and has requested help with a twin bed frame for their 6 yr old son. The family also is in need of a cleaning service to help organize and declutter their home in efforts to maintain the cleanliness.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.

Hungry Hearts Kitchen Ministry is seeking donations to help with the purchase of groceries to supply 4 families with a hot meal. These families are either involved in foster care or in the midst of some difficult life circumstance. Would you be willing to contribute? Always looking for volunteers as well. Single mom is trying to move into a home of her own after staying in a shelter with her three children is seeking a few items for the household. Items needed include a microwave, table, toddler bed and a couch. She is incredibly appreciative of the help that has provided already from Pathway Church but these few items would greatly improve the quality of life and well being of her family as they settle into a new life. Gently used items would be wonderful or donation!

Please help a single father and two children currently living out of their van. The van has been the father’s only means of work. To make matters worse the van is currently broke down and needing a new transmission. We are asking for funds to get the van running and to provide groceries for this family.
