We have a family who is really struggling. There are 4 children in the home all middle school aged and younger. They are requesting assistance with their electric bill that way they can still cover their other bills. The full amount for their electric bill is 310.54. However, anything would help them to get back on their feet. They have fallen behind on their phone bill and rent as well. If they received assistance with their electric bill, they could cover their other bills without having to prioritize any of them over the others. Thank you!

This family consists of a single Mom is raising her 16 year old daughter on her own. She has limited supports and does not drive. The family is struggling with not having adequate clothing. The 16 year old often will not attend school due to not having any clothes. Both mother and child would benefit from having clothing. 16 yr. old- shirts (small), Short and pants (small). Underwear (small). Bra (size 32B), all no color preferences. Mom- Boys/men's clothing- small Sports bra- small Dark colors preferred.

Mother stated they are currently going through mediation with family court. Mother works three jobs and indicated it is still not enough to pay rent and take care of her children necessities. Mother is 27 years old. Mother lives on her own in a one bedroom apartment with her two children. Mother mentioned she continued to get denied for EBT. Mother is struggling and is open to receiving anything that can help her and her family, like groceries, essentials and necessities for the children such as clothing, shoes, school supplies, food. An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month (May). The mother's community health coach requested an infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and will supply the baby's diapering needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT, WIPES, and DIAPERS. We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! We have a beautiful family that arrived here a few years ago from Afghanistan. often the women have to take the children with to stores and other places. this women just had another child and a double stroller to help with a newborn and a 2 year old would be a huge blessing! we give gently used, clean ones - or you could purchase one. t

A church member has a college student, at New River Community College, in a class that is currently homeless along with his father. His father broke both his arms in a work accident due to faulty equipment. Since he is unable to work and the company has put a hold on workers compensation until July they are in need of assistance. The father is unable to work at least until he has surgery on both arms. Their current needs are food and gas for him to get back and forth to work and school.
