Story
A mother of multiple children, passed away in March, leaving her youngest son without a caretaker. Two of her adult children live locally (the others have moved out of the bay area and even the state) and are doing their best to look after their brother. The adult siblings, just 19 and 25 years old themselves, have limited resources, finances and space. Their father has been out of the picture for many years and there is no other local family as their grandparents are in Mexico.
The 19 year old sister is acting as the primary caretaker for her 16 year old brother and needs help. She was struggling financially on her own and is trying to make ends meet. We are requesting assistance with the essentials: food, gas, toilet paper, etc. Anything will help alleviate at least a little bit of the stress while they get used to their new lives and navigate through what that means for them. Thank you!
