Two children in foster care are being reunified with their mom under a trial home visit in one week. Mom has done extensive work completing services and has been sober for 8 months. During the case, mom learned she was expecting another baby. The other two children are school age, so mom does not have any of their baby items anymore, and she does not have the money to buy all of the baby things she needs. She is due in one month, and only has a bassinette so far. The county has been providing her with gas cards and assisting her with getting signed up for WIC and other assistance to aid in her success, and she has been doing her part to follow through with everything. The county and mom would like to ensure new baby never becomes part of the foster system by eliminating safety concerns that would be a result of financial barriers if mom isn't able to afford the things she needs to keep baby safe.

A teenage female was recently removed from her parent's care due to conflict in the home. Her biological brother is providing safe care for her, but all of her belongings were left behind at her mother's house and she is unwilling to let the teen return to the home to gather any personal belongings (jewelry, makeup, school supplies, electronics, personal items, gifts (blankets/stuffed animals) etc etc. The youth has literally one weeks' worth of clothing and no other personal items. This kinship family would like to send the two teenagers in the home to church camp this summer. This camp offers a week long camp near the family's home where the teenagers could go for some encouragement and fun. The children have been through a lot this year and have recently started to act out. The foster parents feel it would be beneficial for the teens to be around their peers in a Christian environment.

This Mom has recently left an abusive relationship and she is pregnant with twins. She has 4 older children ages 8 to 1. She is struggling to keep rent and car payments going because of health issues from the pregnancy. She really needs community support and love. Her sons beds keep falling apart and she needs new bed sets so they can be safe and comfortable while they sleep

A devoted aunt is caring for her great nephew, who recently suffered an accident during a school activity, resulting in paralysis on his right side. Due to her focus on her nephews needs she has needed to take time off of work to focus on his needs and has recently gotten behind on her utilities and needs assistance in getting back on track.

An organization that we partner with shared a need with us for a family they are working with. Mother recently loss her mom and has a lot of Mental health issues. She recently got custody of her children back and is trying to really hard to be a good mother, there are other two children in the house. They are in need of a Twin bed, a Queen bed and a vacuum cleaner. Please let me know if you have any of these items to help this family or if you are able to purchase them!

A counselor at a local high school shared a need for a local family. The family was displaced, and did seek a motel voucher from the district. Thankfully they're back in an apartment, but the mom shared they're in need of a stove.The oldest a senior at the high school and there are two younger brothers. The family is requesting help in getting a gas stove.

Family is in need of two twin sized mattresses, the bed frames and bedding have been secured.

One of our members has a washer and dryer to donate. A newly arrived refugee family with a disabled child is in great need of these donated units. We are looking for help from our church to pick up and deliver the washer and dryer. A pick up truck is needed, also volunteers to load, unload and install.
