A mom of two is currently residing in a domestic violence shelter. Her two children (boy age 5, girl age 7) were removed from her before entering shelter. Since then, mom has completed inpatient treatment and remains actively engaged in outpatient. She is also active in counseling, treatment court, and works full-time. She has increased her visits to unsupervised overnights and was recently able to secure a rental unit. She is unable to move in until she gets beds for her and her children so that she can continue overnight visits that will eventually lead to them being returned to her custody. She is in need of 2 twin mattresses with the frames, 1 queen mattress with the frame, and dressers for each.

This family in need consists of both biological parents and their two children (6-year-old male and 2-year-old female). The family is struggling to manage the son' behaviors. The parents have been focusing on managing his behaviors. The family is in need of some essential household items to improve their wellbeing. The family requests a full-size bed frame, full-size bed sheets and comforter, 4 pillows, and silverware.

One of our young moms is currently about to get out of rehab. She has been through so much - she's been in foster care, been trafficked, and is now battling addiction. She found a place to live on her own and needs help with some furniture to get settled into this next stage in life with her daughter.

The mother is single parent who recently lost her job and is struggling to provide financial stability for her two children. The mother has very limited local support networks as her extended family resides back in her country, country she was forced to leave with her two children due to violence and an abusive relationship. Minor appears to have a lot of anger and he struggles with motivation to attend school. The minor is really interested in participating in sports, such as soccer and boxing. Unfortunately, the mother is unable to afford the cost of uniforms, shoes, etc. The mother needs support covering the cost of cleats, shin guards, boxing gloves, etc. The hope is that by joining these sports, this will serve not only as an incentive for the minor to attend school but will help the minor make meaningful connections, will serve as an anger outlet and will improve the minor's behavior and overall physical and mental health.

Mother has 3 children and is living with her mother and her ex-husband in a one-bedroom apartment. They are needing air mattresses for the children or any form of beds. Any beds or air mattresses will help the family. requesting 3 twin beds or 3 twin air mattresses. A frame would be more acceptable since the home is only a 1 bedroom.

We have a beautiful new family that arrived last week from Afghanistan. They came with nothing and currently the government funding is not available. we have helped the family secure housing and most of the furniture needed. they hopefully will move into the apartment in the next few days.

I am advocating for a mom of 2 who has had a stroke paralyzing her left side. While ordering a wheelchair for her, we discovered she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This mom has had three back surgeries and needs her bed high enough to be comfortably transferred in and out of bed and to be able to rest well. She is very humble and grateful for any help she may receive.

An organization that we partner with shared a need with us for a family they are working with. Mother recently loss her mom and has a lot of Mental health issues. She recently got custody of her children back and is trying to really hard to be a good mother, there are other two children in the house.
