This grandmother needs one more chest of drawers to meet all the physical requirements of caring for her grandchildren, as outlined by DCS. Three of the children were just placed with her yesterday.

The school has been working with a mom who was reunified with her children about a year ago. As a single parent she has needed extra support in keeping up with all of her kiddos and their needs. They've recently been accepted to move into a more affordable home at the beginning of June but they had to move out of their current place earlier than that. They are in need of a hotel room to hold them over until their rental is ready for move in. (The landlords are actually from MP!) The hotel is $84/night and we are hoping to cover 5 nights. There are several other churches claiming other nights as well!

Mother has worked diligently towards correcting the conditions which led to her son's removal last year. Mother hit the ground running to make every effort to initiate all things asked of her by her case worker and the courts. Mother has maintained housing, fully engaged in her court ordered treatment plan, and is able to share how the information discussed with her service providers has impacted her life and how she can now utilize these lessons in her day to day life as she navigates relationships in her life, stress, and parenting her toddler. As a result of the her hard work, the mother and son are now having overnight visitations and will soon enter trial reunification! Mother has been out of work, for over a year, but recently started work over the last month. Mother does not have her own transportation and walks roughly 45 minutes each day one way in the unpredictable Oklahoma weather conditions. Mother could benefit from 2-3 pairs of black work pants and a 1-2 more pairs of comfortable non/anti slip shoes as she works on her feet all day. Additionally, mother needs a lock box in order to keep her medications safely secured from her curious toddler. Currently the medication is stored on top of a high shelf, but a lockbox would be an added benefit to keep her medications stored safely and give her peace of mind. Any help to support this family would be greatly appreciated by myself and the family :)

This request is to assist a mother with two children who has been diligently working her treatment plan. She needs assistance with $500 for her rent. A mom of three has been working incredibly hard to get her life back on track—and she’s almost there.

Not long ago, her kids entered foster care after they ran away while the family was experiencing homelessness. Since then, this mom has completely turned things around. She’s obtained sobriety and just moved into a new home with space for the children. She’s done everything the court asked of her, and now her kids are finally ready to come back home.

There’s just one thing missing: a bed.

She was able to find beds for two of the kids, and we have a twin bed frame ready for her—but she still needs a mattress and box spring to make it complete.

She’s done the hard work. Now we just need a little help to finish the job.

Male student age 17 passed from being hit by car and mental illness. Sibling age 14 grieving. Mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. Father works but does not have all of the money for funeral of 3,000 dollars and add ons. Father reports that student's organs saved three lives, a teen, a toddler and middle aged woman and that his son would have wanted it that way because he was kind. Hospital is going to provide some of the costs but has not informed parent as of yet. Father says any help would be appreciated as he counting on donations to help with services. She plays a significant role in caring for her younger sister, who has special needs. Despite these responsibilities, she maintains consistent school attendance and holds a part-time job. However, the job is located far from her home and provides limited hours.

She has expressed interest in applying for jobs closer to home that may offer more consistent hours, but she faces transportation challenges. The family car recently broke down, and she currently depends on others outside the home for rides, which has proven unreliable. She is looking for a bicycle or another form of transportation to help her access more stable employment opportunities.

This is a single mom who is currently pregnant and due at the beginning of June. She has requested an infant car seat and a stroller. She is moving into a shelter this week. Mom lacks a support system and is trying to rebuild a better life for herself and her child.

We have a beautiful new family that arrived last week from Afghanistan. They came with nothing and currently the government funding is not available. we have helped the family secure housing and most of the furniture needed. they hopefully will move into the apartment in the next few days.

I am advocating for a mom of 2 who has had a stroke paralyzing her left side. While ordering a wheelchair for her, we discovered she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. This mom has had three back surgeries and needs her bed high enough to be comfortably transferred in and out of bed and to be able to rest well. She is very humble and grateful for any help she may receive.
