​In the month of June, the aftercare case team will be celebrating all of the families whose children were reunified with their parents/guardians during the past year (June 2024 - end of May 2025). The case team is planning to make gift baskets for each family. One of the main items needed is baskets or something similar to hold items based on a determined theme per family. The case team thought donated baskets or gift cards to purchase them would allow them to use their full budget on the themed items for each family's basket. I have attached pictures of possible baskets/tubs as guidance. They do not have to be the exact ones. The case team will be putting baskets together at the beginning of June and delivering these gift baskets in the month of June. Items sought - 30 medium to large sized baskets, tubs or containers or gift card or to go purchase them. Gently used donated gift baskets and bags would be appreciated as well.

Mother has a newborn, and has secured housing. Mother needs help with living room furniture and a bed for herself and the baby. Currently the child is placed with her mother, and Mom is completing services before child can be in her home. Any help with this would help to be able to transition the child home.

Current CPS case open concerning Mother who had substance exposed child. Child is currently placed with Grandmother, and Father has filed for custody. Father wants to be able to pick up child for visitation but needs a car seat for the infant along with a crib for his home. Any thing to help out would be appreciated. Thanks

The family is currently facing financial difficulties, which is affecting the child’s well-being and appearance. The student is in need of basic clothing and shoes (both sneakers and black school shoes), as she has been coming to school wearing shoes that are too small and in poor condition.

Any support provided would make a meaningful difference in the student’s daily experience and ease the burden on the family.

To Whom It May Concern: The youth is a senior in high school about ready to graduate. The youth entered the foster care system 4 years ago and has struggled significantly with familial relations and a consistent social support system. The youth is very intelligent, strong advocate for herself, and is ambitious. The youth is planning to attend college in the Fall 2025 post-high school graduation. However, in order to graduate high school - the youth has a pending athletic charge for $45 on her student account for participating in a Fall 2024 sport. Due to saving for a car and college expenses, has been having difficulty covering this expense. In order to graduate timely, this fee is needing to be paid. This would remove an educational barrier for the youth and have her remain on track for graduation.

Please help us to meet the need for a powered mower. We have an adult son thriving in our recovery community who provides care for his aging mother. He is reestablishing a life in sobriety and she is on a fixed income, so their resources are limited. They're currently unable to mow her lawn. Thank you blessing this family!

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.

We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future. Mom is in need of two window air conditioner units for her apartment. Currently, the children are not able to sleep in their rooms because of the temperature (either too hot in the summer or no heat in the winter). Mom also needs a twin size mattress for a bedframe that she has for her daughter.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.
