The Department is working with a mother whose 1-year-old is currently placed in foster care while she addresses the concerns that caused the case to open. She is in need of a replacement car seat. She is getting started in all services and highly motivated to have her child returned to her care. Any assistance with this need so that this mother can work towards reunification is greatly appreciated!

A kinship provider is caring for a 6 year old boy. The kin provider is working towards becoming a certified caregiver and needs help paying for their CPR/First Aid class and is requesting a gift card for the amount of $45 to pay for the class.

Requesting assistance for this mother and her children. Mother has had to temporarily leave the home while she addresses her court ordered case plan, she is in reunification. Mother and her 7 children reside in a section 8 home. The home is currently being inspected for "Annual Housing Inspection". The section 8 inspector has requested a few amenities be addressed. We are asking for support for this mother so she does not lose her section 8 housing voucher. Two door handles, 1 bedroom 1 closet door. I have priced all items at Home Depot. Mother recently found out that her 5 y/o daughter was dx with a severe eye condition that needs immediate treatment, which costs $900. Mother is a single mother and has been unemployed, but she has been proactive and was able to obtain a job due to a high level of stress and financial hardship. Mother is only working 3 days, and she is on call. Mother is determined to work to collect the treatment fee, but any assistance would be helpful to be able to start her child's treatment as soon as possible, as her eye condition is progressively getting worse, and the possibility of damaging her eyesight is increasing. Any help/donations will reduce financial hardship, improve the quality of life for the mother and her family, improve eye sight for her daughter, and prevent the condition from progressing.

Family has been struggling to keep their home clean due to clothes all over the floor and area due to the dryer and washing machine not working and as only the client works full time and provides for the family. They could benefit from working washer and dryer to help wash their clothes and have open space or area.

We have a young widow, 33 yrs old, with three girls ages 11, 10, 8 years old in need of furniture, see listed needs. She graduated from Hope Gardens recently, is in school to complete her AA degree, and recently through the program was able get housing. This would help to create a comfortable living space for her and her daughters as she continues to futher her education and move forward in her healing and create a space for her daughters to thirve and grow.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!
