The agency is working with two disabled adult who just had their second child. The child is in need of a crib and bedding, clothing for a young lady size 3-6 mos. Parents current disability is pending and awaiting approval. To ensure this child does not come into care we are asking for support for this family to help meet the child's needs. Mom is also in need of feminine products (tampons) and size 1 diapers and wipes. Mom has an intellectual disability and has been able to maintain so far with services help however has not been able to find other supports on her own. She asked us to thank all in advance for their generosity and support.

I have a mother that is ready to start trial reunification with her little boy. The only thing holding her up housing. The mother has been sober for over a year and is doing very well in her biofeedback therapy. She also has participated in her sons occupation and speech therapy as well as he is autistic and non verbal. There is a program that is called Community of Hope that has little duplexes and it is recommended they stay their for three years to complete the program. In order to get the mother into this program we need to come up with $400 for her first months rent. After that they will help the mom get a job and teach her how budget and pay bills. We are hoping to have the money Monday so she can get moved in on Monday.

After months of experiencing homelessness due to the mother courageously leaving an abusive relationship, the family now has stable housing. While this is a major and hopeful step forward, they are still in need of essential household items to help them settle in and feel truly at home. The following items are needed: 2 Twin mattresses, 2 twin bed frames, 2 Twinn bedding, 1 set pots and pans, 1 dresser, 5 towels, 1 dining table and 5 chairs. Any support, whether through donations or sharing this need with others, is deeply appreciated. Thank you for being a part of this family's journey toward stability.

We are seeking urgent support for a family with two children at risk of losing stable housing. The family is currently facing eviction, with a balance of $3,587 due. If the balance is paid before the court date, they will be allowed to remain in their home. The mother is actively working side jobs and may be able to contribute a portion of the amount.

Again, we are out of beds with the other recent arrivals and the funds that were normally given to the refugee resettlement agencies being stopped. For these two families again, we need beds (always) and another coffee table.

Glocal has already provided through community donations other furniture that they needed along with household goods. always feel free to inquire more about our programs .

Although it may seem unlikely, we are still seeing families arrive through the refugee process. They come with basically nothing and through Glocal, we provide them new and gently used items donated through the community to help them get started in their first home in the Treasure Valley. We have one large Afghan family of 9 that we have in temporary housing and will move into two apartments in the near future. We are short beds and tables for several families. this request is for the larger family that arrived a few weeks ago. To keep things less costly, they will need to put several children in one room and bunk beds will help. they also could use some coffee tables and end tables. Glocal has been able to provide them with their other needs through earlier donations.

A family has contacted our church in need of help to pay their rent for $1,100. We were able to provide $500 from our church. They are still in need of $600.00 to keep from being evicted. This is a single mother with a teen son and younger daughter. the mother has been sick for a few weeks and was short on her rent. She has also been helping her sister with a serious medical condition. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to provide this family.
