A dedicated foster mom has just welcomed a new placement into her home and is in need of a dresser. The child arrived with more clothing than expected, and additional storage is needed. We are seeking a donated dresser in good condition or a gift card to help offset the cost of purchasing one. Any support you can offer, whether it’s a piece of gently used furniture, a store gift card, or simply spreading the word would mean the world. Helping a Family Stay Together

A local couple recently took in the man’s young son after the child’s mother was incarcerated. Without hesitation, they stepped up to provide stability and care—doing everything they could to keep him from entering the foster care system. Their willingness to open their home has given this child a chance to remain with family and avoid further trauma during an already difficult time.

The Fostering Hope Closet was able to provide a dresser and a platform bed, helping ensure the child had a safe place to sleep and a space of his own. But the family is still in need of end tables and dining room chairs to create a more functional and welcoming home environment.

These may seem like simple household items, but for this family, they represent much more. Dining room chairs will allow the family to share meals together—creating structure, connection, and a sense of normalcy for a child adjusting to a new home. End tables will help the family organize their space and provide a stable, comfortable setting as they settle into this new chapter.

Your support can help preserve this family, meet basic needs, and prevent a child from entering foster care—all by helping furnish a safe and nurturing home.

At our summer kids club we provide lunch for a diverse set of students, Tuesday - Thursday at Noon. Each Summer we ask churches, families, or individuals to come serve meals to our students. We typically have around 60 students enrolled. In some cases, there are left over food, and this will be used towards a day when no one is signed up to bring food. We would love for you to partner with us to serve these students that perhaps wouldn't have food during these days if it weren't for opportunities like these. We have started a sign-up genius to allow volunteers to sign up to serve meals.

Consider helping a young 16 year old man who is placed at a therapeutic group home were he has been developing skills that could lead him to learn what effective relationships encompasses. He is extremely helpful, kind, thoughtful, considerate, and intelligent. If he sets his mind to it, he can accomplish anything. He is working towards rebuilding his relationship with his mother, which was immensely fractured over the years. He continues to learn how to connect with those who are a positive influence in his life. I am very proud of how resilient he is, and despite his past, he has the desire to rewrite his story.

His clothes are getting a bit snug and would love an opportunity to shop for some of his own clothing. Would love a gift card to Target or Walmart to get some clothes of his own. Thank you for considering this need and for praying for him.

a single mother without job has twin girls and she is struggling with the situation. One of the more important things in this moment for this mom is about diapers, she needs a lot of them because she has twins, and helping with this can her some relief in her economic situation. Her babies are 9 months and she needs 2 pack of 50 or more. if you help with this you prevent any bad situation for this mom and her twins

An expectant mother is in need of basic items for a newborn due later this month (May). The mother's community health coach requested an infant car seat, diapers, wipes. These items will allow the child safe transport and will supply the baby's diapering needs for a few weeks. We still need funds for the CARSEAT, WIPES, and DIAPERS. We are celebrating Foster Care Awareness / Appreciation month by hosting a FREE POOL PARTY at River Country Water Parks in Muskogee Oklahoma. We will be inviting current foster and adoptive families from 10+ counties surrounding the Muskogee area to attend. In addition to the pool party, we will be offering information to families of local resources and churches that they can connect with as well as dates for summer activities for VBS and children / youth camps that churches are participating in and inviting children to come to.

The party will be Saturday, May 31st from 6:30-8:30pm with capacity being roughly 700-800 individuals. We will have an RSVP process for the families. We are asking for our networking churches to contribute to the cost of renting the water facility out - $1,200. Any amount helps! We have a beautiful family that arrived here a few years ago from Afghanistan. often the women have to take the children with to stores and other places. this women just had another child and a double stroller to help with a newborn and a 2 year old would be a huge blessing! we give gently used, clean ones - or you could purchase one. t

A church member has a college student, at New River Community College, in a class that is currently homeless along with his father. His father broke both his arms in a work accident due to faulty equipment. Since he is unable to work and the company has put a hold on workers compensation until July they are in need of assistance. The father is unable to work at least until he has surgery on both arms. Their current needs are food and gas for him to get back and forth to work and school. They have temporary housing with family but will need assistance with this need in the near future. If you can help or have any questions you can reach out to Austin Phillips.
