Mom recently had emergency gallbladder surgery and has been unable to work the last couple of weeks. She is currently residing in a sober living facility receiving treatment and attend the Fresh Hope program in hopes of reunited with her children. Grandma is watching the children while mom does the hard work of recovery.

Due to mom's gallbladder surgery she is behind on her sober living facility rent and needs to catch up. She needs to pay two weeks rent to catch up and get back on her feet. Please help this mom who is doing the work to reunite with her family.

We have a 17-year-old girl who recently got a job at Taco Bell. She doesn't have much time between school and her shifts, and a bike would help her make it to work on time. It's a 30-minute walk, but a bike would reduce barriers to her getting to work on time and more efficiently.

Mother, Father and three children live with fathers parents. Mother had a stroke in April 2025 and remains in the hospital receiving treatment and therapy. Father is staying with Mother in the hospital and Grandparents are taking care of the three children. There are concerns related to bedbugs. The family has treated the home with store bought treatments but are not able to rid the home of the infestation.

We are reaching out to request help for a family of 5 that is looking for support for their utility bill. The mother worked full time at Panburys in Etchwood for 13 years, and it has permanently closed. The father works at a factory but has reduced hours. The family has recieved a disconnection notice, and can not afford to pay what they owe due to the mother losing her job, and the father barely being able to work. Any help would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this difficult period.

Family is in need of electric cook stove. Their stove was damaged during hurricane Helene and has not worked since that time.

Kinship caregivers are placement for a 6 and 7-year-old. They are requesting bunk beds for them, as they share a bedroom.

Please consider helping a single mom and her 2 year old daughter here in our Scottsville community. They are in need of a refrigerator as theirs went out and now they do not have one. This would help them keep cold food instead of just shelf food for meals. This single mom works multiple jobs including an in-home bakery. Appliances are very expensive and finances are tight for her. Not only would this help with their food but it would also help her continue her business and the flow of income.

We have contacted Doug's Maytag in Scottsville and they have a new Amana for $667 or a new Whirlpool for $754. There is a $79 delivery fee and they will remove and dispose of the old one for her.

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.

We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future.
