A mother, who's two children ( a boy, age 7 and a girl, age 1) is struggling financially at this time. Her children are placed in a kin-like home in Colorado Springs. Mom recently completed 30 days in rehab and is now trying to find work. She is very stressed about food insecurities and has days that she can only eat one meal a day. Mom would also like to be able to bring food to visits with the children, but does not have the means to do so at this time. A $250 walmart card or King Soopers card would allow her to get groceries for a couple of weeks while she continues her search for employment. Single mother of three; her 8-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. The mother is unable to work due to the need to provide full-time care for her daughter. Currently, the family is in need of cleaning supplies, hygiene products, laundry detergent, and summer clothing for the children. I work with clients who are currently navigating open investigations that have not yet entered the system. One of my clients is a pregnant woman who is focused on ensuring a healthy start for her unborn child and preventing her unborn child from entering the system. She has recently found a small apartment. However, she is starting from scratch, facing the challenge of furnishing this new space with no belongings of her own. Providing her with assistance to acquire essential furniture and household items would not only help create a comfortable and safe place for her child but also empower her to build a stable environment where her family can thrive and grow together. The affected family is a five-member family that shares ICWA tribes and includes three young children, a mother, and a father. They were placed in foster care because of the condition of the house, which included new flooring due to pipe issues being clogged up and damaging the floors.. Any aid from people, organizations, or churches in offering free flooring services or helping to cover the cost would be greatly appreciated, as parents are unable to pay for the estimate quotes.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.

Hungry Hearts Kitchen Ministry is seeking donations to help with the purchase of groceries to supply 4 families with a hot meal. These families are either involved in foster care or in the midst of some difficult life circumstance. Would you be willing to contribute? Always looking for volunteers as well. Isaiah 58: 10-14 “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be bright as noon.”

Single mom is trying to move into a home of her own after staying in a shelter with her three children is seeking a few items for the household. Items needed include a microwave, table, toddler bed and a couch. She is incredibly appreciative of the help that has provided already from Pathway Church but these few items would greatly improve the quality of life and well being of her family as they settle into a new life. Gently used items would be wonderful or donation!

Please help a single father and two children currently living out of their van. The van has been the father’s only means of work. To make matters worse the van is currently broke down and needing a new transmission. We are asking for funds to get the van running and to provide groceries for this family.

Another church referred this family to us. Single mom, having a hard time, needs beds for her four children. We would like to help her by supplying beds.
