Unfortunately, their air conditioning went out about a week ago, and with the Florida heat intensifying, this has become an urgent concern. The heat poses serious discomfort and even health risks, particularly for young children and seniors. Restoring the AC is now their top priority to ensure the well-being of everyone in the household.

A family of five--mom, dad, two boys (ages 7 and 6) and a 19-month-old baby girl--is requesting help with diapers, wipes, and a car seat for their youngest. The father is working, but the recent loss of the mother's job and child care assistance has created a financial strain. They need a toddler car seat and diapers (size 4 or 5). The mother is actively searching for part-time work with a strict time frame due to child care difficulties. Supporting this family would directly support the baby girl's safety and well-being. The car seat ensures she can travel securely and diapers helps maintain hygiene and comfort. Meeting these basic needs relieves some of the family's financial stress, allowing them to focus on stability and care for all their children.

There is a family who recently opened their doors to 3 kiddos in need of a home. They are in need of beds so that they have a comfortable place to sleep. They would love if someone would be kind enough to provide them with either 3 twin beds or a bunk bed and 1 twin bed. Bedding will also be needed for these children. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

We are working with a single father of 3 kiddos, who has been dealing with bed bugs but is on a fixed income and unable to pay the cost. The family has lived in there stable housing for many years, and we want them to be able to stay in their home without dealing with the pesty bed bugs!

Family of 5 needs help bridging some gaps this summer!

Mom is disabled after a bout of long-covid and also recently lost her job. Family is struggling to make ends meet on a single income. They need groceries and gas for their car. As mom is disabled, she is dependent on her car to get the kids to camp and to appointments. 3 kids: ages 6, 10 and 14 are also in need of shoes, clothes and supplies for the coming summer and school year.

Clothes needed: For 14 year old boy: two hoodies, men's M or L; plain white or black t-shirts, Men's M; athletic pants/joggers/wind pants, men's M. Shoes: hiking/waterproof boots and gym shoes, Men's 11.

For 10 year old: Gym shoes women's 8.5/9 or men's 7.5/8

The 10 year old also needs a contigo-style water bottle. The child has sensory needs and needs a water bottle with a covered/retractible straw.

A single mom in Cannon Falls is requesting assistance to replace a window in her trailer home. She already has a new window to install.

Mom has a child on the spectrum, so it is hard to find good day care. She is home with the kids until she can get services. That being the case, a kitchen table will help for the family's meals and for the kids to sit at and do activities. It will help the apartment to feel more like home. ALL THE ITEMS NEEDED ARE AVAILABLE FROM RISE CHURCH CP INVENTORY. NO FURTHER DONATIONS ARE NEEDED.

A lady in a senior housing complex is in need of furniture and dishes for her apartment. She only has a bed and a tv. She is in need of dishes, sofa, table with chairs.

A mom at the apartments where we serve is in need of a bed. She has been having major issues with her back due to sleeping on her sofa. She does not work and cares for her disabled son. She is in need of a bed and dresser. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.

A member of our church is in need of assistance with his family's utility bill. This family has 6 children all under the age of 12. Both parents are employed and hardworking. Meeting this need will help alleviate this church family from this financial burden!
