A loving and dedicated grandmother is doing her best to care for her 10-year-old granddaughter and 7-year-old grandson. Despite the financial challenges she faces, her love for them is unwavering. She is seeking support to provide the children with the school supplies they need, such as notebook paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, erasers, posters, glue, and tape—so they can start the school year with confidence. This small act of kindness would help relieve some of the financial pressure on this grandmother and ensure the children have the essentials they deserve. Additionally, the children would greatly benefit from clothing support, whether through gift cards or access to free clothing, to help them feel ready for the school year ahead.

A two-year old foster child who is a bright and active toddler has faced early life challenges and is currently adjusting. Recently, he has developed a habit of removing his clothes and diaper during the night, which has led to frequent messes, disrupted sleep, and increased stress for the foster parent. Despite consistent bedtime routines and various interventions, the behavior continues and has made overnight care difficult. Adaptive clothing designed with rear zippers or secure closures can prevent the child from undressing during the night, helping to maintain hygiene, reduce overnight clean ups, and support better sleep for both the child and foster parent.

With tick season quickly approaching, she’s deeply concerned about the health and safety of her grandchildren. Tall grass not only invites insects but also increases the risk of tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease.

Due to a cervical spine injury sustained while working in 2025, her mobility has become limited, and she's now living on a fixed income. Unfortunately, she’s unable to afford regular lawn care and cannot safely manage the yard herself.

She would be incredibly grateful for a working lawnmower—new or gently used—so she can keep her yard maintained and her grandchildren safe. Any support would make a meaningful difference in their lives.

A mother and her 3 children left an unsafe situation and starting all over in a new place. The mother has requested help with obtaining a twin bed frame, a mattress, and 2 pillows for her 6-year-old daughter. The mother thought she had this secured already and has linens for the 6-year- old’s bed, but the offer fell through last minute. Please help this 6-year-old get a bed of her own to make this transition as smooth as possible for her and Mom

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.

Every day, she does her best to provide a stable, loving home for them, despite the many challenges she faces. Right now, she is in urgent need of a gas stove. Her current stove no longer works, making it difficult to prepare the healthy, home-cooked meals her grandchildren depend on. Living on a fixed income, she recently had to spend her limited savings on car repairs so she could continue getting to vital doctor appointments. She is currently on workers' compensation due to a cervical spine injury she suffered on the job in early 2025. The injury has greatly limited her mobility, adding to the physical and emotional toll of her situation. Despite these hardships, she remains strong and full of love for her grandchildren. A new or gently used gas stove would make a world of difference in her ability to care for them. Any support would mean so much to this family and would help bring comfort and stability back to their kitchen — and their lives.

A member of Doxa shared a request where they would benefit in having another bed since they assist their neighbor kids while their mom works doubles to make ends meet. Having a bed will allow her to serve the kids in having their own space when they spend the evenings over.

We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future. Mom is in need of two window air conditioner units for her apartment. Currently, the children are not able to sleep in their rooms because of the temperature (either too hot in the summer or no heat in the winter). Mom also needs a twin size mattress for a bedframe that she has for her daughter.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.
