This client is pregnant with twins, high risk pregnancy due to perinatal diagnosis. Baby B, has passed though she is still pregnant with him and Baby A. Doctors hope she can make it to 32 weeks, currently 28 ½ wks along. She will then deliver baby A and also the remains of Baby B. She has been on bedrest to help her get to 32 weeks. They are struggling financially due to her not working. Her boyfriend is the only one working, and they have a 9y son. Family is helping with the little they have themselves. They also have been told the house they are renting is being sold and need to find elsewhere to live. At one point she was hospitalized in Colorado due to the severity of her high-risk pregnancy. She is back in Tucson and has several appointments a week. She is on short term disability; still paying for her insurance premium but their other bills are now delinquent. To say they are grieving, stressed and struggling would be difficult to put into more words. We would appreciate any financial assistance.

We are reaching out on behalf of a devoted single mother who is doing everything she can to provide for her young child. She was blessed with a donated car—that allows her to get to and from her two jobs and care for her little one. The seats are in extremely poor condition—torn, worn, and uncomfortable. This mother works tirelessly every day, juggling two jobs. Even with all the challenges she faces, she remains positive and determined, putting her child’s needs before her own. A simple set of car seat covers would not only restore a sense of pride and comfort to her daily drives but would also bring a little dignity back to the space she spends so much time in. We are humbly asking for your help. A donation of car seat covers—for her used 2009 Lexus ES 350 Interior color Beige —would make a world of difference to this hardworking mom. It’s a small act that would bring great comfort, support, and hope. Right now, she is in urgent need of clothing and shoes for her little girl. Her daughter is growing quickly and currently wears clothing size 6 and shoe size 13 (children’s). With the change in seasons and the daily wear and tear of an active child, her clothes are becoming worn and limited. This mom is doing her best, but she could really use a helping hand. The infant was recently placed with the paternal grandmother who isn’t employed and took in the child to avoid the child being placed in foster care.

The family is in need child proof locks for the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. They need child proof doorknobs, child proof wall plugs, and baby gate, and medication lock box. If the needs are met this will preserve the placement.

We are reaching out on behalf of a devoted and hardworking grandmother who has recently taken in her 1-year-old grandson. She is providing a safe, nurturing, and loving home where the child is thriving and continuing to grow developmentally. At this time, the family is in need of two essential items: A vacuum cleaner to help maintain a clean and healthy home environment. A toddler bed to support the child’s transition into an age-appropriate sleeping space, which is important for his safety and development.

Providing these items will not only ease the grandmother’s responsibilities but also contribute positively to the well-being and growth of the toddler.

Family consists of three siblings (ages 4. 5 and 12). On 10/10/2023, the children were separated during detention. The 12 yo child was released to his father who lives out of state. The 12yo child was parentified and all three children were very close. The children facetime together once a week; however, they have not physically seen each other since placement date of 10/10/2023. The two younger children constantly ask to see their older brother. Most recently, the 12year old's father was incarcerated, and he is now residing with his stepmother. The oldest child struggles emotionally as he misses his younger siblings. The 12yo child will be visiting from out of state and assistance is being requested to help purchase Knott's Berry Farm tickets for the three children and 2 chaperones. It will be the first time the children have ever visited Knotts Berry Farm which will leave a lasting memorable day. Spending the day together and exploring a new day of fun.

A member of Doxa shared a request where they would benefit in having another bed since they assist their neighbor kids while their mom works doubles to make ends meet. Having a bed will allow her to serve the kids in having their own space when they spend the evenings over.

We are in urgent need of funding to purchase two mattresses (we highly recommend with waterproof covers) for a foster family who is working to get siblings placed in their home. As part of the placement transition, they will be hosting the children for some overnight visits soon and they have worked to purchase beds for their home. As a result, they are asking for help in purchasing the mattresses to put on the beds due to the sudden financial strain. These kids will be looking to make this home a permanent placement, so these items would be for use long into the future. Mom is in need of two window air conditioner units for her apartment. Currently, the children are not able to sleep in their rooms because of the temperature (either too hot in the summer or no heat in the winter). Mom also needs a twin size mattress for a bedframe that she has for her daughter.

I would like to say “thank you” on behalf of my family. Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. I know that this is a temporary situation because I will be back in the workforce as soon as we get the support we need to get going. My story is long, but I will make it as concise as possible. When I got married to my wife, she had a boy, whom I love dearly. He is on the autism spectrum. I bring him up because everything that is going on is hardest on him. I had a job selling cars, and I made many sales, but what was promised was not paid. I lost several months giving my all to a job that did not cover my bills. I got a new job driving a school bus. At that time, we were living in my father’s house. That’s when the twins arrived. This was too much for him. He was always in a bad mood. His temper always got the better of him. We were afraid for the babies. M and J were afraid to be there when I wasn’t there, and I was afraid for them. One night he just cam in to the room screaming at my wife saying what s going on since the babies were crying and Meghan was getting frustrated with the babies he seemed like he was ready to hit one of us how angry he seemed .at the the time we were holding the babies I had to make a hard decision to keep my family safe cause it would of just gotten worse. We left to stay at a friend’s house, where we are now....but we have to leave very soon. Now we have no income and no savings. Thank you again for listening and all of your help.

Hungry Hearts Kitchen Ministry is seeking donations to help with the purchase of groceries to supply 4 families with a hot meal.
