For the preservation of placement for a child age 12, placed with relatives, the caregiver could benefit from a gift card to help buy groceries for the child. Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health. We have provided other resources in the community, although family has not been successful in obtaining these items. Any assistance available would be beneficial to this family- thank you!

We are reaching out on behalf of a three person family, where the single mother just lost her job as a secuirty guard and can no longer afford rent and utility bills. After she lost her job, times got hard and can no longer afford rent, along with gas and power bills. This single mother has submitted her application and applied to numerous companies, but is still waiting to hear back. Her landlord gave her until Thursday, May 15th to pay her rent and really needs assistance. We can accept a donation through the Agape Youth and Family website. Any help would be deeply appreciated as they navigate this difficult period.

Currently we have a single mother who is caring for her infant daughter who is 2 months old. The mother is unemployed at the moment. The mother is in need of a crib, crib mattress, crib mattress protector, crib sheets and a dresser for her baby girl.

A courageous mother who has recently escaped a devasting situation of ongoing domestic violence and severe isolation is in need of emergency rental assistance. Her husband, who was the sole provider in the household, is now incarcerated due to the abuse she endured. She fled for the safety of herself and her three children and is now in urgent need of support to stablize her family. This mother is now raising an 18-year-old son, who is a graduating senior in high school, a 13 year-old daughter, and a 2 year old son. In the aftermath of fleeing the abusive environment, she lost her hoome, vehicle, and all forms of stability. Despite these challenges, she has shown remarkable strength by securing employment and taking steps to rebuild her life. However, the burden of restarting from nothing--while also caring for three children--has left her unable to meet the full demands of her living expenses. Rental assistance would provide her with the stability needed to continue working, caring for her children, and to begin healing from the trauma they've experienced. This support would be a bridge toward long-term self-sufficiency and safety for a family who has already endured so much.

The department is working with a 17 year old male that was previously involved in an abuse and neglect case. As a result of the trauma faced and also the family's gang involvement, he also was affiliated with that life style. He is currently in a placement that is supporting his transition out of that life and he is going through therapy to work through the abuse that he suffered. This youth has requested a amazon gift card to be able to get new clothes and shoes. As a result of this need being met he reports that he will feel more comfortable and confident in himself to create those pro-social supports with the other youth at this placement that he desperately needs and wants.

Mom recently had emergency gallbladder surgery and has been unable to work the last couple of weeks. She is currently residing in a sober living facility receiving treatment and attend the Fresh Hope program in hopes of reunited with her children. Grandma is watching the children while mom does the hard work of recovery.

Due to mom's gallbladder surgery she is behind on her sober living facility rent and needs to catch up. She needs to pay two weeks rent to catch up and get back on her feet. Please help this mom who is doing the work to reunite with her family.

Please consider helping a single mom and her 2 year old daughter here in our Scottsville community. They are in need of a refrigerator as theirs went out and now they do not have one. This would help them keep cold food instead of just shelf food for meals. This single mom works multiple jobs including an in-home bakery. Appliances are very expensive and finances are tight for her. Not only would this help with their food but it would also help her continue her business and the flow of income.

We have contacted Doug's Maytag in Scottsville and they have a new Amana for $667 or a new Whirlpool for $754. There is a $79 delivery fee and they will remove and dispose of the old one for her.

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.
