A single dad has been living with his parents and his two kids. Because of having trouble securing job because his car burned with their house, he is having trouble securing housing. He is currently staying between hotels and shelters allowing his kids to stay with their grandparents in their temporary housing. He is needing to secure a car again to be able to get a job, and eventually a place to stay that could support him and his kids together. He is struggling in the domino effect of the fires that has caused him to lose everything. I'm advocating for $3,000 to secure some housing for him as well as some clothing and Uber costs for job interviews. He is looking for any kind of car and hopeful he can get one so transportation can be secured for work. He is eager to be able to get back to work to care for his kids again.

The family is in need of a washer and dryer. The relative caregiver reported that it is challenging to use a laundromat, as the child has difficulty self-regulating in public setting and is easily overstimulated. Additionally, the caregiver must provide a high level of direct supervision and frequent redirection to the child. The caregiver is the sole provider for the family and has been focused on meeting the child’s basic needs such as food and shelter. She shared that purchasing a washer and dryer would create a significant financial strain.

Caregiver raising her 18 year old daughter and caring boy age 7 under foster care(for 4 years and is in the process to establish Legal Guardianship ) for girl age 6 (has been with her 1 yr sh she is also in the process to liberated and is going to do Legal guardianship ) and a supervision of DCFS they it has been a long process and at this moment with daughter graduation expenses she is short on her rent, the landlord has extended you due date to the 15th with no late fees she just reached out. Her rent is $2,999.00 she is short $1300.

A wife and her husband and their two children lost everything. They are currently running several foster homes for kids and continue to put that as a priority. They have been able to find temporary housing, but the cost of replacing items for them and their two children is increasingly difficult as they are still making mortgage payments and with the $6,000/mo rental. They have been able to receive some insurance payouts, but with the increase costs of goods, they are not going to be able to have that cover the rebuild. I am advocating for $2000 as they are needing to make purchases for clothing and small items for their temporary housing.

A Caregiver age 57 whose husband passed away from Covid is raising her 8 year old that is being asset for Regional Center and has a lot of behavior issues among other issues.Needs a Refrigerator is not working and she has to go to the store daily. She does not have the means to replace it at this moment. Her car also needs repairs and new tires she has no clue what the coast is. Her husband usually took care of this.I am not sure if you can help her with both of her needs but Refrigerator asap.

Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health. We have provided other resources in the community, although family has not been successful in obtaining these items. Any assistance available would be beneficial to this family- thank you!

Mom recently had emergency gallbladder surgery and has been unable to work the last couple of weeks. She is currently residing in a sober living facility receiving treatment and attend the Fresh Hope program in hopes of reunited with her children. Grandma is watching the children while mom does the hard work of recovery.

Due to mom's gallbladder surgery she is behind on her sober living facility rent and needs to catch up. She needs to pay two weeks rent to catch up and get back on her feet. Please help this mom who is doing the work to reunite with her family.

Please consider helping a single mom and her 2 year old daughter here in our Scottsville community. They are in need of a refrigerator as theirs went out and now they do not have one. This would help them keep cold food instead of just shelf food for meals. This single mom works multiple jobs including an in-home bakery. Appliances are very expensive and finances are tight for her. Not only would this help with their food but it would also help her continue her business and the flow of income.

We have contacted Doug's Maytag in Scottsville and they have a new Amana for $667 or a new Whirlpool for $754. There is a $79 delivery fee and they will remove and dispose of the old one for her.

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.
