Recently, in an emergency situation, he was placed in the care of a loving relative, his great-grandmother. She welcomed him without hesitation, even though he arrived with nothing but the clothes on his back. This selfless woman is already caring for his older siblings, 9-year-old twins, and is doing everything she can to create a safe, stable, and loving environment for them all. But she cannot do it alone. She is doing her very best, but the financial and emotional strain is overwhelming. As a community, we have the power to lift this family up in their time of need. We are kindly asking for donations to help provide clothing, food, and basic essentials for this young boy and the family that has opened their heart and home to him. A brave 17-year-old girl from Teller County is reaching out for support after escaping a deeply unstable and unsafe home. After enduring years of hardship, neglect, and instability, often caring for others instead of being cared for herself she made the courageous decision to leave everything behind in search of safety and hope. With nothing but a small bag of clothing, she walked miles to reach a safe place her brother helped her find. She's now in a secure environment, but the journey ahead is still long. Despite everything she's been through, she remains determined, kind, and incredibly resilient. Her dream is to finish high school, earn her diploma, and one day serve our country by enlisting in the military. This young woman has survived more than most do in a lifetime, and now she’s ready to rebuild but she can’t do it alone. She has no financial support, no job history, and no access to the basics many of us take for granted. We’re kindly asking our community to help her get a fresh start. She needs essential items like clothing, toiletries, school supplies estimated at about $200. Any donation, whether it’s a gift card or cash, will make a meaningful difference in her life. We have a mom with three children who has been involved in a very domestic relationship for several years. The violence started impacting the children making them all very unsafe. Mom and her three children are currently living in a hotel. Our agency is helping them with housing, rent, and all the basic necessities to start over. The one thing we don't have access to is transportation. Mom has a good job but no way to get there every day. We were hoping someone had a reliable mode of transportation to help this family, or even funds to help purchase a cheap vehicle for her and her three children.

DCFS has a case on a family who is married with two children and the children do not have beds. The kids in need of beds are ages 12 (female) and 11 (female). Your help is greatly appreciated.

I have a family of 5 who are in need of assistance with paying their water bill. One adult is disabled, and 2 adults are having a hard time right now and are unemployed. Mom just had a baby, and a toddler and dad broke his hand is unable to work due to being a construction laborer. They have struggled recently and are trying to keep up with things, unfortunately the water bill has gotten far behind. The water department has been very understanding and has allowed them to pay small amounts over the past several months, however this has allowed them to get severely behind. This has caused them to have their water shut off 6/11/2025 and they have 2 children in the home, ages 2 and 6mos. Ideally, we would love to get the bill in its entirety paid, but the water department has agreed if a large payment can be made, they would turn the service back on and allow payments for the balance. Water is a necessity in the home, any help would be appreciated!

A young family of 2 children ages 1 and 7 years old are requesting a dryer as they moved into a house from an apartment. The couple have been here from Venezuela for about 2.5 years and help out at Centro Cristiano a Las Naciones with leading music. They moved from an apartment which had a washer and dryer and now they need to provide for their own. The father is looking for work and does odd jobs to help pay for rent, bills, food, clothing, etc. A dryer will help mom take care of her kids so that they will be able to attend school and help their hygiene. A single mother of 5 children missed quite some time from work due to unforeseen behavior issues with her 7-year-old son, who has since been diagnosed with ADHD and ODD. Due to these conditions, her son was not able to stay in school full days and she had to stop working for seven months until she was able to get him approved through his insurance for an in school one-on-one counselor, a smaller classroom setting and also a 504/IEP plan. Now that he has those, she has been able to get another job but won’t get paid until June 30th. She has fallen behind on her rent and several other bills. I am requesting help with the following bills: rent for May $833, she has worked out a payment plan with her landlord for the remaining balance if she can get May’s rent paid; light bill $274 and that is with an approval for cooling assistance from social services which starts on 6/15, her disconnect is for 6/16; water bill $54.37 which also has a disconnect for 6/16. I am also requesting assistance with food and gas money. Mom reached out to her social worker about all these requests, but worker was not able to process her snap application in time for her to receive benefits for June, so she won’t receive any snap benefits until July 4. She also needs money for gas to get to her job.

A elderly lady within our church community is in need of furniture for her apartment. She has been living in the senior living apartments for over 2 months and does not have what’s needed to make her home a comfortable living environment. She has a bed and a tv. She is in need of towels, linen for her bed, kitchen towels, dishes, sofa, table and chairs, Anything you can do to assist her would be greatly appreciated.

We have a single mom in our church who is working hard to care for her two little girls. She’s doing her best but has recently fallen behind on bills and could use help getting back on her feet.
