Maternal grandparents took in their two grandchildren ages 1 & 2. The one year old is sleeping in a pack n play while the 2 year old is in a toddler bed. The family is asking for help in finding a crib that will transform into a toddler bed, then full size bed once needed. The 1 year old is a boy and enjoys Jay Jay from Cocomelon. The family is also asking for a mattress protector for the year old, since they are starting potty training.

The youth is located at a facility 2 hours away from the parents’ home. The mother has recently needed to stop working due to needing to help care for some of the kids at home. The cost to drive and visit this youth is very expensive round trip, but the parents really want to see him more often. They have just been able to begin visiting in person, and it means a lot for the youth to see his parents after so long in a facility. This request is for gas cards to assist with the journey to and from the facility. When the request is met, the parents will be able to schedule an in person visit immediately after assistance is given to see their son.

The family has been living in a hotel for approx 2 years. They have finally been approved for an apartment next week, the week of the 19th. Although they do not have anything other than clothing and a few personal items for the apartment. They are in need of a lot of items for the home. The family would appreciate any assistance with any of the items listed that they could get.

Maternal grandmother has placement of her 9-year-old granddaughter. Maternal grandmother is needing assistance buying a pole and buoy. Maternal grandmother has a large pond right outside of her home. Maternal grandmother reports the child likes to play outside with her friends. These items can ensure water safety in case of an emergency.

AGAPE is working with a pregnant mother through our Safe Families Grant Program. She has additional costs not covered by her insurance carrier and could use financial assistance. Any funds to go towards this need would be incredibly appreciated.

Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health. We have provided other resources in the community, although family has not been successful in obtaining these items. Any assistance available would be beneficial to this family- thank you!

Mom recently had emergency gallbladder surgery and has been unable to work the last couple of weeks. She is currently residing in a sober living facility receiving treatment and attend the Fresh Hope program in hopes of reunited with her children. Grandma is watching the children while mom does the hard work of recovery.

Due to mom's gallbladder surgery she is behind on her sober living facility rent and needs to catch up. She needs to pay two weeks rent to catch up and get back on her feet. Please help this mom who is doing the work to reunite with her family.

Please consider helping a single mom and her 2 year old daughter here in our Scottsville community. They are in need of a refrigerator as theirs went out and now they do not have one. This would help them keep cold food instead of just shelf food for meals. This single mom works multiple jobs including an in-home bakery. Appliances are very expensive and finances are tight for her. Not only would this help with their food but it would also help her continue her business and the flow of income.

We have contacted Doug's Maytag in Scottsville and they have a new Amana for $667 or a new Whirlpool for $754. There is a $79 delivery fee and they will remove and dispose of the old one for her.

Please help us to meet the need for a powered mower. We have an adult son thriving in our recovery community who provides care for his aging mother. He is reestablishing a life in sobriety and she is on a fixed income, so their resources are limited. They're currently unable to mow her lawn. Thank you blessing this family!

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.
