I am working with a mother and father in Newburgh with 5 children. Three children are in need of sleeping arrangements and furniture. There is a 15 y/o male who is need of a full-size bed frame and dresser, a 7 y/o male in need of a twin-size bed frame, box spring and dresser, and a 6 y/o female in need of a dresser.

UPDATED POST The grandmother's landlord is now stating that she was behind two months and late fees have been added to her balance. The landlord states the grandmother has a past due balance of $563 and due to not having the full amount he will not accept partial payment. This grandmother is trying for her granddaughter. The grandmother got a job and started working this past Monday so she will be ok for the months to come. The remainder that she is needs to make her payment is $100

ORIGINAL POST There is a trying grandmother who has her 4-year-old granddaughter and due to the level of care the child needs the grandmother had to stop working to care for the child. To prevent the child from being sheltered the grand mother is behind $200 on her low-income housing and her electricity is currently disconnected for payment. Any assistance is appreciated.

A single Mom with a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter has had to go back and forth from a town in MO (45 minutes away) to Kansas City in order to be at the hospital with her 1 year old daughter who is admitted. The 1 year old daughter is going through a difficult time medically and currently has a device helping her current heart function. The daughter will be admitted until she receives a heart transplant and Mom and brother are making efforts to move to Kansas City from 45 minutes away in order to be near the daughter and support her at this time. With that said, Mom is having trouble making her car payment. Mom herself actually was admitted to the hospital and it caused her to miss work which has resulted in falling behind on her car payment. If a church is able to assist this Mom with a car payment she would be forever grateful! She is also accepting of prayers for her daughter to receive a heart transplant and tolerate the change well. A single mother, who is in recovery is doing her best to make ends meet. The family is currently homeless and being housed through DSS. The mother is looking for wipes for her baby (11 months) as well as a portable highchair/seat.

Maternal grandparents took in their two grandchildren ages 1 & 2. The one year old is sleeping in a pack n play while the 2 year old is in a toddler bed. The family is asking for help in finding a crib that will transform into a toddler bed, then full size bed once needed. The 1 year old is a boy and enjoys Jay Jay from Cocomelon. The family is also asking for a mattress protector for the year old, since they are starting potty training.

Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health. We have provided other resources in the community, although family has not been successful in obtaining these items. Any assistance available would be beneficial to this family- thank you!

Mom recently had emergency gallbladder surgery and has been unable to work the last couple of weeks. She is currently residing in a sober living facility receiving treatment and attend the Fresh Hope program in hopes of reunited with her children. Grandma is watching the children while mom does the hard work of recovery.

Due to mom's gallbladder surgery she is behind on her sober living facility rent and needs to catch up. She needs to pay two weeks rent to catch up and get back on her feet. Please help this mom who is doing the work to reunite with her family.

Please consider helping a single mom and her 2 year old daughter here in our Scottsville community. They are in need of a refrigerator as theirs went out and now they do not have one. This would help them keep cold food instead of just shelf food for meals. This single mom works multiple jobs including an in-home bakery. Appliances are very expensive and finances are tight for her. Not only would this help with their food but it would also help her continue her business and the flow of income.

We have contacted Doug's Maytag in Scottsville and they have a new Amana for $667 or a new Whirlpool for $754. There is a $79 delivery fee and they will remove and dispose of the old one for her.

Please help us to meet the need for a powered mower. We have an adult son thriving in our recovery community who provides care for his aging mother. He is reestablishing a life in sobriety and she is on a fixed income, so their resources are limited. They're currently unable to mow her lawn. Thank you blessing this family!

2 senior individuals with disabilities were placed in protective custody due to living conditions exploitation sexual and physical abuse. We are asking for help with community resources that may be able to assist these 2 elderly disabled individuals with mentorship, gift cards for local fastfood due to where they were placed they only have access to a microwave. Any financial assistance would greatly be appreciated to ensure securement of their room at motel until further placement arrangements can be made. What we are needing is..

1. Financial assistance for motel for approx. 1 month and transportation
2. Resources for food,clothing,mentorship transportation,housing
3. fast food gift cards so these 2 individuals can have at least 1 hot meal.
