The child's parent is disabled and unable to leave their home which is the reason for the request. We have a deadline of Friday morning to have this done and really need your help to make it happen!

A single father has just gained custody of his 4 year old daughter after relocating from another state to Florida, in order to provide stability and a home for his daughter, after learning she was placed in foster care. He is seeking assistance with obtaining an appropriate car seat for her needs to ensure she is able to be safely transported to and from their destinations. She is 2' 11" and 28lbs (as of Feb 2025).

A single father is working hard to provide a safe and loving home for his twin toddlers, but right now, his family is missing some essential items that would make a world of difference. He is in urgent need of two infant beds so his little ones can sleep comfortably and securely. Unfortunately, LACASA Collection does not have any available at this time. Additionally, he would love to have a table and chairs for four so that his family can gather, share meals, and create lasting memories together. At the moment, they have nowhere to sit and connect over dinner, which makes family time challenging. These items would bring warmth, stability, and a sense of togetherness to their home. Any help in providing them would be deeply appreciated.

I am requesting a donation of $1000 for a family as they have incredible need at this time. In February of 2025, the father, suddenly died after years of being hospitalized and treated for various medical conditions. A month prior to his death, the family of 6 moved into the home he owned. Unfortunately, the house needs major repairs beyond their savings as the roof is leaking and there is a broken window. I am requesting from Care Portal funds to fix the window, which has been estimated to cost $500. In addition to the home repairs, the mother is now the sole caregiver of four children (ages 1, 12, 14, and 17) and needs support with the cost of food (About $200 a week) and diapers (Size 4 diapers for a female). The family is open to any support they can receive.

A single mother from Pickerington reached out for help with her South Central Power bill in the amount of $409.50. Her electricity was originally scheduled for disconnection on May 5, but she was able to negotiate an extension until the end of business today. This mother is raising her 13-year-old daughter on her own and lives paycheck to paycheck. She shared that she has been dealing with intermittent illness but is scheduled to return to work next week. Despite working full-time, her monthly income is not enough to cover her rent. She has an appointment with the Pickerington Food Pantry for additional support and mentioned that she called 2-1-1 and was advised to reach out to local churches. (Wes, I’m not sure if that information is accurate.) At our suggestion, she contacted South Central to find out the minimum payment required to prevent disconnection, which turned out to be $215.25. Grace Fellowship has already covered that amount today. However, there is still a remaining balance of $194.25 She also mentioned that she’s actively looking for a part-time job to supplement her full-time income and is seeking shift work. Given the situation, I will be submitting a request through the IFP portal. Since Grace Fellowship has already contributed $215.25, I am reaching out to see if any of the other churches in our network would be willing to assist with the remaining balance of $194.25.

A single mom with limited financial resources needs help purchasing a toddler bed for her 2-year-old daughter. The little girl has been sleeping in a Pack N Play which isn't in the best shape. The agency offered to replace the Pack N Play, however, the mother asked if we could instead assist with upgrading the child's sleeping arrangements to a toddler bed as she is outgrowing her Pack N Play. This single mom doesn't like to ask for help but would really appreciate a new bed to accommodate her daughter's growing needs. This child is at the age where it's appropriate to transition to a bigger bed. This would provide her with more comfort and a sense of "big girl" independence. This purchase would also lift the financial burden of the mom who has limited income.

• Bedding set (bedding, sheets, comforter, pillow, pillow case)
• Mattress protector (needs list says twin, but toddler is needed)

A community serving agency is in need of support for assisting in keeping families safe, when home is no longer safe, typically due to domestic violence situations. Often it is a quick decision that has to be made immediately, often late at night and when most shelters are full. I would love to prepare them for when things do happen, they are ready and have some support. Thanks in advance for helping!!

Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health. We have provided other resources in the community, although family has not been successful in obtaining these items. Any assistance available would be beneficial to this family- thank you!
