We have a single mother who is in need of a convertible car seat for her son. The mother left the baby’s father who was the abuser. Currently, the baby has a infant car seat that he has outgrown. The mother does not have any family supports in the state and she is currently struggling financially. Mother takes care of the son's basic needs, but she cannot afford anything beyond this. The mother is in the process of going back to school and looking for a job so that she can support herself and her 1-year-old son. By fulfilling this request, you will ease some of the stress that the mother is experiencing. Thanking you in advance for considering this family’s request.

I am working with a family that expressed a need for a twin size bed/mattress for their family. There are three children, 5, 3 and 1 year old. The 5 year old is sleeping in a toddler bed, the 3 year old is in a crib and the one year old is sleeping in a pack n play that has several large rips. Wanting to ensure a safe sleeping environment for all children, the family is requesting a twin bed for the oldest so the 3 year old can use the toddler bed and the youngest can transition to the crib. 

This is a 7-member family: 1 single mother and 6 children. The mother is on a fixed income and has recently been approved for a new home with her housing voucher. She is needing a few additional funds for the deposit. With the additional funds for a deposit, it will help the family be in a safe community.

Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
