Good morning -

CCS CUA 4 is requesting assistance for a family of 5. MO is fleeing from domestic violence and is starting all over. To help prevent mother's children coming into care, she needs assistance with:

-repairs, if possible

1 full size bed with mattress and bedding
she can use 4 dressers to organize her children's clothing (our agency is assisting with laundry and hygiene products)
she can use on going laundry detergants
dinning table so they can eat as a family
they do not have a couch, not necessary but if possible
gift cards for food or can goods

Mother is also pregnant and due in October, a future request will be made to assist newborn.

Mother has no supports in Philadelphia and she is not employed. At this point, anything can help this family. Mother home is not set up; she uses plastic and microwaves food. The home repairs are for doors that her oldest teenager broke. Further information and how to assist this family can be discussed with CMD, Jennifer B.

I'm reaching out on behalf of an 18-year-old homeless woman who is doing everything she can to care for her 3-year-old daughter and rebuild her life. She recently started working and is actively seeking stable housing and daycare for her child.

Right now, she desperately needs help paying for her cell phone. Her phone is her only way to stay in contact with potential employers, daycare providers, housing resources, and emergency services. Without it, she risks losing the progress she's worked so hard to make.

We're asking for help to cover her phone bill so she can stay connected and safe during this critical time. Every little bit counts. If you can donate or share this with others who might be able to help, it would make a huge difference in her life and her daughter's.

Careportal recently assisted a single mother of 4 with getting her truck towed to Tire World in Lavergne to be inspected by Mechanics on a Mission for repairs. It was discovered the cost to repair is more than the vehicle is worth. This mother is in need of reliable transportation. She has not been able to work in the last several months due to a severe health episode with her oldest son. The situation is stable now but the back and forth to the hospital caused the vehicle to break down. Mechanics on a Mission would like to work with us to gift this mother a vehicle suitable for her family. It would be a great resource and allow the mother to return to work. The donation requirement to gift a vehicle through Mechanics on a Mission is $2500. We are asking for help in making the difference in this family's life and to set them up for success.

The Children's Division has thoughtfully planned for the safety of children to be with their loving grandfather. Despite facing financial limitations, he is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing for his two grandchildren and ensuring they have access to education. Granddad is seeking support with fuel costs to transport the children to and from school and their extracurricular activities—responsibilities he has embraced to keep them out of foster care. He expresses that, while he is not accustomed to these additional expenses, having his grandchildren in his home brings him joy, vitality, and a sense of purpose. The children have also settled in beautifully with him. The family is needing a $50 gas card from quick trip. Support an Expecting Mom and Her Unborn Baby

Mother expecting 2nd child on 5/23. This child’s father is not involved, although has support from 1st child FOB. Both unemployed and without finances to put towards listed items. This mother was recently enrolled in our program for her 2nd child, although we did have her 5 years ago when her 1st child was born. Since our initial enrollment, this mother has shown much growth in her recovery and mental health.
