Mother (41) and her three daughters (12,8,6) are currently on trial discharge from foster care program. Mother needs assistance with organizing household/personal items from her previous residence that are currently being stored at her parent’s home. The family is currently considered homeless and are residing at a motel provided through DSS. Mother plans on moving into her parent’s residence until she is able to find her own housing. The dining room and children’s bedroom is filled with items that need to be cleared to make a safe living space. The mother also requested assistance with clothing for the children. For the 8 and 6 year old: Girls summer clothes size 10-12 and size 2-3 shoes. For the 12 year old: Woman’s summer clothes size M-L shirts, 13-15 adult size jeans, and size 9 shoes.

Hi Ya'll! We have a high need 10-year-old boy in foster care. His foster family is requesting help providing for a few of his basic needs. He is in need of size large pull ups and sensitive skin wipes. In addition to some ankle socks (the kind that cover OVER the ankle) By meeting these basic needs for our boy, his placement will be secured with this family while his family resolves to work toward reunification. Family is requesting alarm systems for the home due to the mental health issues and wanted to make sure that the child is safe at night. The child has left the home multiple times in the past and the alarms will help to alert the parents if the child leaves the home at night. The family would like alarm systems on all doors and windows; the family has three doors that would need alarms and seven windows total in the home.

Grandmother of 3 (three) is looking to purchase bed items for her grandchildren. She recently had to throw out bed items to bed bug infestation.

The foster parent in this case stated that the children need shoes badly. The shoes the children have are getting too small. She does not have the money for shoes. She tried Kids Point in Tallahassee to find second hand shoes and they had none in their size . Both the children (boy and girl) wear size 11. She is requesting sandals for the summer and tennis shoes for school. It would ease this foster parents mind if she new this could be provided. Thank you for all you do for our kiddos.

A family has contacted our church in need of help to pay their rent. They are in need of 600.00 to keep being evicted.

This request is from the family support specialist at the Middletown Early Learning Center. The family has a child in the preschool program and attends for half day sessions. The family phone and internet bills have been shut off, and they're in need $153 to turn on their cell phone service again and $205 for their internet service. School meetings are often held via Zoom and/or phone so both services are important for the family to maintain communication with the school.
