Diapers, wipes, and pull-ups can become a huge expense for a family living on little income. This mom is looking for a little help with her children's diapers, wipes, and pull-ups. Mom is providing for the family's needs, but is left a little short when it comes to needs like these. Mom is in need of size 5 diapers, wipes, and size 4T/5T pull-ups for her children. Helping to meet this need will allow the family to spend their limited resources on things like food and electricity and will still allow them to live in a safe and hygienic way.

Client lives in Lynchburg with her 3 children. She is currently out of work until the end of May when she begins her job. Her husband is currently incarcerated. Although she starts her job next week, it will be a few weeks before she gets paid. She really needs assistance with her car and rental insurance, which is due on 5/20 or she will lose her insurance policy. She also could use some help with food! Thank you for any help you can provide to this mother!

We have an amazing Foster family that just accepted a placement of 5 kids! They couldn’t stand to separate this sibling group and no one else could take them all, they are at absolute capacity. They are in need of booster seats for all of the children and appreciate any help!

We were put in contact with a mom who is in need of beds for her kids. Please let me know if you are able to help!

Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A mother is no longer able to take her medication since she cannot afford and no longer able to pay her bills and work. She is taking the steps to get her medication started back up for physical and mental state. Since she is not able to work due to having her disability she is not able to afford her rent. She has an eviction notice and needing to get her rent paid in the next 3 days. She currently has 3 children living in the house, an eight year old, 13 year old, and a 17 year old. She is a single mother and is never late with paying her rent. She could use all the help that she could get in order to prevent homelessness for her family.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
