Family has been homeless for months is finally getting into a trailer move in date 5-30. The children have been staying at the Noyes home for months. They have received beds for the family. They are needing a couch and kitchen table with chairs for their new home.

The Department is requesting help for a mother and father of two. The mother recently gave birth to a second daughter and is living in poverty. The mother grew up in the foster care system and was adopted but estranged from her adopted family. She is learning how to be a mother of her own without a support system. Recently, the Department learned that the family was struggling to buy diapers, wipes, and baby supplies which resulted in the newborn wearing diapers for an extended amount of time to try to prolong the amount of diapers the family has and caused a diaper rash. The Department is requesting assistance to provide the family with diapers, wipes, and baby supplies such as diaper rash cream, baby shampoo/body wash, and hygiene essentials for baby and toddler. The infant will be in size 2 diapers and the toddler in size 5. The mother seems deeply devoted to raising her children and doing the best she can with what she can. We believe that better access to these products will tremendously improve the morale and feeling supportive.

The family has limited storage and is needing 2 dressers for the children. The children clothes are currently in tubs. The family pets are laying on these clothes and it has caused issues with the children's hygiene.

The Kinship placement is needing daycare for the child placed in their home and they are now in need of daycare for the child. The kinship mother is going back to work and they need daycare. They found daycare but the child cannot start until July. The daycare is asking the kinship mom to pay 500 to hold the child's spot and its the only daycare that had an opening. Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
