Family has been homeless for months is finally getting into a trailer move in date 5-30. The children have been staying at the Noyes home for months. They have received beds for the family. They are needing a couch and kitchen table with chairs for their new home.

The Department is requesting help for a mother and father of two. The mother recently gave birth to a second daughter and is living in poverty. The mother grew up in the foster care system and was adopted but estranged from her adopted family. She is learning how to be a mother of her own without a support system. Recently, the Department learned that the family was struggling to buy diapers, wipes, and baby supplies which resulted in the newborn wearing diapers for an extended amount of time to try to prolong the amount of diapers the family has and caused a diaper rash. The Department is requesting assistance to provide the family with diapers, wipes, and baby supplies such as diaper rash cream, baby shampoo/body wash, and hygiene essentials for baby and toddler. The infant will be in size 2 diapers and the toddler in size 5. The mother seems deeply devoted to raising her children and doing the best she can with what she can. We believe that better access to these products will tremendously improve the morale and feeling supportive.

The Department is requesting help for a mother and daughter that are trying to get re-established in the community. The mother is deaf, and the daughter is her voice through sign language. The family has been working on repurposing a trailer to reside in. The family has fallen on hard times as it is hard for the mother to find employment and she very much wants stability for herself and more importantly, her daughter. The family is in need of a fridge and a microwave to have food in their home and cook meals.

The family has limited storage and is needing 2 dressers for the children. The children clothes are currently in tubs. The family pets are laying on these clothes and it has caused issues with the children's hygiene.

We have a foster mom who just took in a teen girl. This teen came with almost nothing to the home and while we were able to provide a mattress, this teen girl still needs a bed frame and some bedding of her very own. She really enjoys her placement and has been dreaming of having her own bed and bedding. She has picked a bed frame out on Amazon that comes with drawers for her clothes and bedding that she will be so proud of. Every girl has dreams of her own room and her things, and she has never had that. We would love to provide that for her. If you can help this sweet girl, please reach out to us. Thank you.

Grace Chruch Family, a need in the community has come to our attention that we would like to help with. A mom needs help with an electric bill. She has 3 children ages 6, 2, and 5 months. The baby was born early and this has caused her to get behind on several bills. Thank you for any amount you feel led to fund.

A family with a child with special needs (seizure disorder and autism) is seeking assistance for a small portable air conditioner. Initially mom thought that the landlord got this fixed but as the days get hotter the a/c cannot keep up. The child’s seizures worsen with heat and the mom is about to undergo a surgery. Does anyone have a used portable a/c that can be donated? Or can you find it in your heart to donate to this cause?

Single mother (who Emmaus members have been walking alongside) escaping domestic violence from husband along with two kids under the age of 7 years. She is starting over from scratch as they left the house with nothing and has no extended family support. She would like to have a car which would provide transportation so she can get a job so that she can get into housing. We are hoping to provide $3,000 towards a vehicle.
