The mother was recently reunified with her children, ages 4 and 1. The mother is a single mother who works full time to care for her children. She has worked hard to complete her case plan and reunify. The mother has requested assistance with obtaining a few items to assist in her reunification. She needs assistance obtaining a car seat for her one-year-old, a stroller, and a dresser for the children's belongings.

Parents of 3 small children need the following: 2 Dressers, Couch, Full or Queen Bed, King Box Spring, 4 Kitchen Chairs, 10 Towels and Washcloths so they can bathe. Worker has already checked with other Social Service agencies for these items. They are willing to accept used items in good condition. Thank you for your help. It is very much appreciate.

I am working with a single mom who is currently homeless and is staying with friends or sleeping in her car. Mom had to separate her family in April 2025 due to a eviction and the kids are staying with their grandparents temporarily until she can find a house. The first grader has separate anxiety and melt downs at school because she misses her mom and the change in living arrangements has increased the stress. Mom has saved $4000 for down payment and rent for a new place; however, she is still short $1500. Mom wants to bring her family back together and so she can be with her kids so any assistance is helpful. Mom needs support in paying the rest of the rent because their is an eviction on her record so the landlord wants another months rent before she could move in. Please help this family end homelessness and bring mom and her kids together. Mom also reported that her food stamps have been cut so she is really struggling.

An aunt is placement for her 3-month-old niece. She is requesting help with formula. The infant takes Nutramigen Hypoallergenic Ready-to-Feed.

A mother has an 8 mos baby boy and she is currently struggling financially and needs assistance with the following items. The mother just moved into a home as they were previously homeless and used most of her money to move in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. She has also been referred to other resources but has not had any success as she looks on offer up, but with limited financials it can be difficult if somebody puts in a higher offer.

Diapers size 5, wipes, clothes 18-24 months for a little boy, and an interactive floor mat for tummy time.

A Pathway member has recently started walking with a young woman who is 5 months pregnant and plans to keep her daughter when she is born. Her boyfriend is the dad of the unborn baby and he was the sole provider before recently being incarcerated. Mom is currently staying in a motel. To make the amount she needs for rent daily she has been doing online surveys and selling apparel / house ware things on Facebook marketplace.

She doesn’t currently have any support system. She has applied for jobs but being 5 months pregnant hasn’t been hired. She does not have a car which makes it hard to apply anywhere far away from the motel.

The Pathway member is connecting mom to more long-term resources but, in the meantime would like to ensure that mom is housed for an additional two weeks until the longer-term resources can be arranged.

Please pray for and help this pregnant mom stay housed til other resources are available. Thank you!

This young lady recently graduated high school and is preparing to go into college in the fall. She currently lives with a single mother who is not actively involved in her life. The student has been able to maintain a 3.0 GPA during all her years in high school. She is actively involved in extra curricular activities and in her community. She would greatly benefit from this summer camp experience among her peers before she goes off to college.

We are supporting a single mother who has recently reunited with her children with weekly meals and a prayer team. She has requested assistance with her utility bill to get caught up. If you are able to help strengthen this bio family with financial contributions, we will contact you to log on to the City of Monroe website to pay the bill directly.

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. Please do not share this need beyond our church family. You will be contacted with specifics of where to go when you select your day. Thank you!

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!
