This is a request from RestoreOKC. We have a participant in our workforce program who is in need of assistance with her OG&E bill. She found out recently that a charge was fraudulently applied to her account, and this charge applied an extra $500 to her account (someone she knows used her information to set up an account but did not pay the bill). The amount owed is now $800 and her electricity was turned off on Friday, the 22nd. She has filed with OG&E that this charge was fraudulent, but they have not yet completed an investigation. She has $200 to put toward the bill. She has reached out to other resources to get help, but has either been turned away or has not heard back. This mom has two children in the home with her. She is a hardworking person who has come against a very difficult situation and any help you can provide would mean a lot.
