The Spero Project is connected to an incredible family who is moving from their house to an apartment due to AC and foundation issues and we are looking for moving boxes or bags! We would be happy to pick them up. This family has experienced some set-backs out of their control and we know being able to provide some moving supplies would really be an encouragement to them right now. Thank you so much!

A family of five kids in Boise—twin toddlers, two elementary school age girls, and a middle school age boy need support. Both mom and her partner grew up in foster care, and don’t have any family that in the are to support them. The family has been through many challenges including being homeless, living in a shelter, and battling cancer. But the family has also been extremely resilient and has overcome all of these challenges to be able to live in an apartment and care for their children today! Mom is finally at the end of her recovery from treatment, but does not have a working vehicle to get to her appointments. - This is the final piece for her to be able to show up for her kids and care for her family.

We are looking for someone that would be able to help with a car repair. It is suspected that something with the gear shift is not working properly. Mom reports that the car will turn on, but will not move unless she presses fully on the gas pedal. - Can you help by assisting with this car repair for this family?

A bio mom is in need of a hotel room for a couple of nights. Her son is in need of placement and she is safe except for housing. This would give them quality time to bond and a couple of nights together.

I am reaching out to request your urgent assistance for a family in need. A local mother, who is currently facing an extremely difficult and traumatic situation, is in urgent need of hotel accommodations for the week.

Her 15-year-old daughter has recently been the victim of domestic violence. The young girl was severely attacked by her boyfriend and is now in critical condition. As a result, the mother is staying in a hotel nearby to be by her daughter’s side during this incredibly challenging time.

Due to the circumstances, the mother is in desperate need of support to continue staying close to her daughter while ensuring her own well-being. Your help in providing hotel accommodations would be a great blessing and relief for this family during such a heartbreaking ordeal.

This dad has recently been laid off from work and is struggling financially. On top of financial struggles, the family is also dealing with a number of other family challenges. Despite reaching out to may resources and working diligently to apply for new jobs, finances are extremely tight right now. This family could use help in many areas but has identified that they are behind in their electric bill and that this is currently the biggest need. Any type of financial support would be helpful for them right now.

A father is needing gas money to travel to and from court from Kansas to Oklahoma.

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a strong, resilient, loving mother of a 15-year-old boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and a precious 7-month-old baby girl. For the last four years, this family lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Kerman, dealing with heartbreaking conditions. The apartment was infested with roaches and had black mold growing in the walls — an unsafe, unhealthy place for anyone, let alone for children. Despite paying high rent to a neglectful landlord who refused to make things right, they had no choice but to stay because it was all they could afford.

Recently, this Mom was finally able to relocate her family to a new apartment in Sanger. But with the move came another hard decision — she had to throw away nearly everything they owned because it was too infested and damaged to take with them. They left behind beds, furniture, kitchenware, and even the baby’s belongings. Now, this family is starting over with almost nothing, and we’re hoping to rally our community to help them rebuild their home and give these children the safe, clean, and loving space they deserve.
