This dad has recently been laid off from work and is struggling financially. On top of financial struggles, the family is also dealing with a number of other family challenges. Despite reaching out to may resources and working diligently to apply for new jobs, finances are extremely tight right now. This family could use help in many areas but has identified that they are behind in their electric bill and that this is currently the biggest need. Any type of financial support would be helpful for them right now.

The family has not had a working dryer for several months. There are 8 individuals in the home (5 children, 3 adults) and they have been struggling to wash and dry each person’s clothes in the home. The family stated that in addition to a working dryer, a clothesline would also be helpful to dry any extra items during warm weather. Safety Plan Monitor in need of size 2 diapers for nephew in her care. SPM does not have reliable transportation, and she is short on funds at the moment. Two young mothers are living with their Grandma along with their children. They both working full time jobs and trying to become more stable. Helping support them with some diapers would put some pressure off of them until they get paid. One girl wears size 3, one girl wears size 5. This would greatly bring a little relief to the family.

A family is struggling to be able to afford the special formula their infant must have. Both parents work and have WIC but unfortunately WIC is only contracted with Similac. The infant needs Reguline Enfamil with each can costing $40 for 19.5 oz. Without assistance, they will be unable to provide the formula this infant needs to thrive.

I’m reaching out today to ask for help for a strong, resilient, loving mother of a 15-year-old boy, a 2-year-old little boy, and a precious 7-month-old baby girl. For the last four years, this family lived in a one-bedroom apartment in Kerman, dealing with heartbreaking conditions. The apartment was infested with roaches and had black mold growing in the walls — an unsafe, unhealthy place for anyone, let alone for children. Despite paying high rent to a neglectful landlord who refused to make things right, they had no choice but to stay because it was all they could afford.

Recently, this Mom was finally able to relocate her family to a new apartment in Sanger. But with the move came another hard decision — she had to throw away nearly everything they owned because it was too infested and damaged to take with them. They left behind beds, furniture, kitchenware, and even the baby’s belongings. Now, this family is starting over with almost nothing, and we’re hoping to rally our community to help them rebuild their home and give these children the safe, clean, and loving space they deserve.

A mother has lost custody of these children, and they are staying with an aunt. They have all been abused. The children only have a few clothes that the aunt has bought them, no toys, and very little toiletries.
