The grandmother, who lives on Social Security, had to move unexpectedly, as her last rental was infested with pests that the owner would not treat. The family had to move with very little belongings, as all their items had bugs. The grandmother is placement of a 17 year old female and has guardianship of another granddaughter. Finding safe places for teenagers with sensory issues and autism is so difficult. It becomes even more difficult when the cost of these safe places rise. A mother and father are requesting support to renew their community center membership for the year for their 3 children, two sons (14 and 11) and a daughter (9). The community center has become one of the few places their son with autism can find safety, connection, and tools to manage his anxiety and anger, while keeping the family together. It is a resource they utilize nearly every day. They appreciate your consideration.

I’m reaching out on behalf of a client who is nearing the end of her time in our program and working hard to establish long-term stability for herself and her family. She has made meaningful progress and is close to securing sustainable independence, but is currently behind on her utility payments.

As she prepares to transition out of services, having this support would make a significant difference in helping her exit from the program on steady footing. We’re hoping to find community members who may be willing to assist her in covering this essential need either in full or in part. It would provide critical relief and greatly ease her transition.

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!

An aunt is taking in her nephew that the mother lost custody of and the uncle took him in and now he recently lost custody. The child is 14 years old and the aunt is in need of a twin bed and mattress. The child is currently in a boys home so the aunt is going to take him in. Child needs clothing( XL shirt, 38x34 pants, (size 12) shoes, socks, (large) underwear and hygiene products.

We have a brave mother with young children who is a survivor of recent domestic violence, and we have been supporting this family in their journey toward stability. Unfortunately, the program we had arranged for them is no longer able to accept them. We urgently appeal to the community to help provide temporary housing for this mother and her children for the month, ensuring they have a safe roof over their heads. Meeting this need would not only offer immediate shelter but also give them the essential time to find another suitable program. This mother is currently 8 months pregnant, making it even more critical to secure a safe space for her and her children. Please join us in helping this young mother keep her family together and create a plan for their future.

A family of 6 with kids who are 12, 10, 3, 1 has moved into the SCV and is need of support. The father is currently looking for work to help support the family but currently they don't have any income. The family has rented an apartment, but they do not have sufficient beds or furniture for the family. The three year old is in need of a twin bed/mattress. The family also needs a dining room table and a couch. Any support would be helpful. Gently used furniture would be welcomed and appreciated.
