Two male children ages 5yo and 2yo were removed from their mother and her boyfriend and were placed with maternal relatives. The children are needing beds and bedding to be able to be comfortable and fully settled in at their placement. Due to their size toddler beds are appropriate for the children. The 2 year old likes Bluey and they both like Spider-Man.

The children have been living with their maternal grandmother since 2019. There are three children in the home, and the only income coming in is from the Grandmother's job. The two girls share a mattress currently and would benefit from having their own separate beds. The one boy sleeps on a sofa bed in the living room but the AC in the living room does not work, and he would benefit from air conditioning. These items would help improve the children's wellbeing.

A 16 year old female was removed from her biological family and placed in kinship care. Her placement is needing a twin size mattress so that the child can have her own bed.

I have been working with a family of five to help support their stability with their children returning into their home. Mom and Dad have a 12 year old daughter, a 8 year old son, as well as an 18 month old son.

One of the children knocked out one of their glass windows in an accident and the family has not been able to repair it. The family rent the home their in and have notified their landlord, but they are refusing to fix it. The family has been told it is their responsibility and have been saving money towards repairing it.

Assistance with repairing this window would help the family with their relationship with their landlord as well as saving them money they don't have.

A single mother of an 8-year-old boy signed him up for soccer in an attempt to get him more engaged with community events and sports. The mother does not have the funds to purchase the required cleats and shin guards needed so her child can play. The mother is not currently working due to a disability. The child needs cleats (size 5.5 kids) and shin guards (size medium kids).

A Pathway member has recently started walking with a young woman who is 5 months pregnant and plans to keep her daughter when she is born. Her boyfriend is the dad of the unborn baby and he was the sole provider before recently being incarcerated. Mom is currently staying in a motel. To make the amount she needs for rent daily she has been doing online surveys and selling apparel / house ware things on Facebook marketplace.

She doesn’t currently have any support system. She has applied for jobs but being 5 months pregnant hasn’t been hired. She does not have a car which makes it hard to apply anywhere far away from the motel.

The Pathway member is connecting mom to more long-term resources but, in the meantime would like to ensure that mom is housed for an additional two weeks until the longer-term resources can be arranged.

Please pray for and help this pregnant mom stay housed til other resources are available. Thank you!

This young lady recently graduated high school and is preparing to go into college in the fall. She currently lives with a single mother who is not actively involved in her life. The student has been able to maintain a 3.0 GPA during all her years in high school. She is actively involved in extra curricular activities and in her community. She would greatly benefit from this summer camp experience among her peers before she goes off to college.

We are supporting a single mother who has recently reunited with her children with weekly meals and a prayer team. She has requested assistance with her utility bill to get caught up. If you are able to help strengthen this bio family with financial contributions, we will contact you to log on to the City of Monroe website to pay the bill directly.

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. Please do not share this need beyond our church family. You will be contacted with specifics of where to go when you select your day. Thank you!

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!
