Foster Family lost everything in a house fire the evening of 6/7. They are in need of gift cards for bedding and groceries

Family Adopted their niece and nephews they were removed from parents do to drug abuse. DCFS placed the with Aunt and uncle after a few years they adopted them, 3 children have special needs both boys have the Autism one is 330 ponds and other 238 they need new mattresses they have had these for 15 years and is need a new replacement desperately they only have the Mattresses on the floor thy broke the frame a few years ago. The Girls need single mattresses. they also have 2 other Daughters with special mental health needs and another son with ADHD/ mental health issues

This family is composed of a husband 60 and wife 58 They have children with severe special needs, a son bedbounded age 29, a son aged 25 and 22 in college and raising three boys ages 17-18-19 who have Autism syndrome who under DCFS FosterCare placement under NUFARM they are so committed to all the Boys and filling their care.
One of the boys is over 320 pounds and the other is over 200 pounds they share rooms they sleepin single Bunk Beds and need to be replaced with double bunk beds. She said with me being a stay home mom and caring for all the kids. They have not been able to replace the beds at this moment so they are asking for a grant to provide the bunk beds and Mattresses.

This family is raising their Grandchild age 7, Grandmother is 61 and Grandfather is 65. He is getting ready to retire and she is a stay home caregiver, this child requires a lot of supervision and care. They adopted her, the mother was unable to care for her child. There refrigerator just stopped working and they do not have the financial means to replace it and the Family Need a table top computer so they can take classes and the child has online therapy and online supportive classes they were using her school tablet and they had to turn it in so they don’t have electronics to support the online services,

We are supporting a single mother who has recently reunited with her children with weekly meals and a prayer team. She has requested assistance with her utility bill to get caught up. A local caregiver is requesting support to help cover summer camp costs for her 5-year-old son, a joyful and resilient recent kindergarten graduate. This child has been part of her family for four years and was officially adopted in late 2024. While parenting him comes with challenges, it has also been filled with incredible moments of growth and love.

The child is enrolled in the HASCI (Head and Spinal Cord Injury) Medicaid Waiver Program; however, summer camp is not a covered service under this waiver. The caregiver is seeking one-time assistance to give him access to a safe, structured, and enriching environment during the summer months—a place where he can build social skills, maintain routines, and continue his developmental progress.

This little one has multiple complex medical diagnoses, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder Global Developmental Delays Microcephaly Gait Abnormality Low Hemoglobin Developmental Delay Ongoing occupational, speech, and physical therapy needs

To help meet his nutritional needs, the caregiver has been purchasing Pediasure out of pocket for the past four years—another expense not covered by current supports.

This summer camp experience would offer more than just fun; it would provide much-needed routine, peer interaction, and growth in a supportive setting. Any contribution toward camp fees—or even toward his ongoing nutritional needs—would be deeply appreciated and make a lasting difference in this young boy’s life.

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!

One of our newly arrived families has moved into apartments that have no air conditioning and the family has no fans. We all know how hot it gets and the adults and the children can get overheated. If anyone can provide a free standing or window air conditioner or a couple fans, that would be wonderful. Thank you

I am reaching out on behalf of one of our Children’s Church students who is currently in foster care. Her mother has recently secured employment and is in the process of transitioning to a new home. While this is a positive step forward for their family, it has also placed a significant financial strain on them. Due to these circumstances, the family is unable to afford the registration fee for summer camp. However, we strongly believe that this child would greatly benefit from the experience—emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Camp would provide her with a safe, uplifting environment and a chance to grow in confidence and faith during a time of major life change.
