I have a kinship foster home that has recently taken placement again of an 8 year old family member. This kinship home is in need of groceries and other household essentials and cleaning supplies. Meeting this need would help preserve this placement since this placement provider is not yet receiving any financial assistance for caring for this child.

The family consists of a Father and two teen children. The family is low income and does not have much food in the home. The family has some nonperishable items but not much food in the fridge or freezer. Father reported they could use some meat so he can make meals for the family or items that the children are able to prepare for themselves when he is working. Father would appreciate any help he could get at this time.

I am requesting a twin be and bedding for a child placed in a relative home. They have income but they have their own child and expecting second child. The child placed in their home using one of their step child's bed. In summer he comes to visit his father. He came two days ago and using his bed. The child placed in the home needs a bed. Without a proper bed the family will not able to meet basic living standard for her. The family is committed to create a safe and stable environment, and receiving this assistance would greatly support preserve the placement.

Kinship placement is requesting assistance with providing 3 weighted blankets for three children placed in home. The weighted blankets are needed to help self-regulate their emotions. If the need is met the children will have improved their overall well-being, which helps the kinship placement deal with behaviors.

A great aunt and a grandmother (sisters) adopted a total of 5 siblings. They live in the same home and do everything they can to meet all of the children's needs. Two of the siblings are autistic and require specialized care and attention. Three of the children are eligible and would love to go to the Boys and Girls Club throughout the summer. This would give the caregivers the ability to focus on the child with the highest exceptional needs, while the others are able to spend their days having fun and learning at the Boys and Girls Club. The children can attend at a special rate of $30 each per week. The caregivers' finances are extremely tight. We are asking for one month for now, as the caregivers try identify ways to cover the rest of the summer. The children would love to start next week if possible. A single mother had to leave her job due to that organization losing funding and her hours being cut down. The single mother is now working a cleaning business and is a full time student as well to further her education. She hurt her back a couple months ago so she is struggling to work her hours. She currently has 3 of her daughters who are in high school and 3 toddlers/newborns in her house including herself. She is selling some lotion on the side to try to make ends meet. Anything can help.

An elderly woman with serious health conditions in our community is in need of a working electric stove/oven for her home. This can be an older or used appliance as long as it is in good condition and that it works.

A single mother is facing financial hardship and has fallen behind on her rent. She has an 11-year-old son and is striving to get back on track. Her monthly rent is $1,570.00, and she was able to pay $500.00 for May; however, she has incurred late fees totaling $230.00 and is struggling to cover the remaining $1,300.00 that was due for May. As June is now here, she has fallen short again and is seeking assistance to stabilize her housing situation. Any support that can help her bridge this gap and regain stability would be deeply appreciated.
