We have a larger family in need of help with their transportation. DJFS is helping with housing at this time. According to the caseworker they have a 2003 Honda Odyssey van in need of 2 front wheel bearings and a fuel filter. Several shops were called for pricing. It sounds like it could cost around 1400.00 as long as they don't run into any other issues.

The wonderful non-relative caregiver accepted placement of 3 children. The caregiver is not currently receiving any financial assistance for the children. The caregiver/family recently moved. The caregiver has asked for assistance obtaining a full size bed frame and mattress for one of the children. Youth is a female, but no color preference. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Child living in an emergency shelter who is looking for an adoptive home. He is graduating high school this weekend and his 17th birthday is in 2 weeks. We would like assistance with getting him gifts for graduation and his birthday. He loves Nike and would like pants, hoodies and tee shirts. He wears a size medium.

Family with 3 kids is currently homeless and is in need of funds to stay an extra week at their current motel or else they will be forced to leave by tomorrow at 11:30 am.

Expecting mother with 2 older children just ended her homelessness and was able to get a car. Her desire is to find work, but she needs to be able to transport her children to childcare. She is in need of 2 convertible car seats. See the link below for the type of car seat she is looking for (this one will allow her children to grow into it and not have to buy another one in a few months). This will increase her ability to keep her family off the streets and in their housing.

Good morning, friends. I have been made aware of a young woman who is 7 1/2 months into a high-risk pregnancy, who has a connection with someone in our church. Part of what she is struggling with is that one of the twins she is carrying passed away quite early in the pregnancy. She has also been in and out of the hospital with various infections, but the baby is fine. She had to quit her job so she has no income and is also not physically able to get out to purchase what she needs. She is being supported emotionally by the baby's father and her parents, but they do not have the means to equip a nursery. If you have ANY baby items taking up space that you would be willing to part with or can help provide any of the items listed, it would be so encouraging and greatly appreciated by them all. She is having a girl and they do have some clothes. I do not expect all of these items to be provided, but I am just throwing out ideas. Thank you so much!

A mom with a child with special needs mentioned that she was without basic clothing and personal hygiene items impacting her ability to work and provide for her family. These items would help this mom be able to provide for her family.

Due to unexpected circumstances, this newly married couple and family of 3 needed to find a place to live. With deposits and moving fees, it leaves them still in need of a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. Please consider helping get this family on their feet so they can care for their precious 2-year-old daughter the best way possible.

Foster Care Awareness Month is here and around 6,000 children are in the Oklahoma foster care system on any given day. All though we care about each one of these amazing kids we want to come alongside those that are in our community to ensure that they know they are loved, supported, and have community.

All though we may not be able to solve the foster care crisis state wide we can solve it in our community. One easy step in doing this is by supporting the foster families that have stepped up on behalf of these precious children. We are working to get 25 care totes prepared for the 25 Foster families that are in our area. These totes are a small example of how we can help support them as they go into the summer months and resources are limited. This is a community opportunity for churches, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to make a difference. Everyone can do something and together we can make a difference.

The items that you provide can be dropped of at ReaLove in Miami May 22nd & June 5th from 1 PM - 4 PM so that the Care Totes can be assembled and distributed to the families in June.
