Mom and dad currently live in a hotel with two children ages 1 and 6 years old. She has to be out of hotel today. She has $13 to her name. One child has autism. Mom does work full time near hotel. Mom and caseworker have been calling shelters and there is no space at this time. She has no transportation, and she wants to stay close to her job so she can continue working. They have been applying to apartments and have not yet been accepted. They are wanted to get into Samaritan Inn but have to wait for a family room.

This is a mother who was a victim of DV who is now on her own and trying to start over. She needs assistance with the help of utilities as her partner was the breadwinner. The mother is working to look for a job so she can continue to help with caring for herself and children.

Foster parent is trying to make a placement of a 7 yo boy that just came into care happen. He will be sharing an upstairs loft style bedroom with an older boy and to ensure they both have a divider is needed. Go To Link

Single Mom is working multiple jobs to get caught up on her bills after unexpected life events. Mom is still behind on paying rent and received a notice from landlord that it needs to be paid within ten days or they will have to terminate the family's lease. If they cannot pay, they will face homelessness.

This request is being submitted on behalf of a student whose family is currently experiencing homelessness. The student resides with her mother and younger sibling. Following a recent separation from her spouse, the student's mother has been unable to secure stable housing and is currently staying with a friend. The mother is enrolled and finishing cosmetology school, and is working diligently to save for independent housing for her family.

Despite the family's current circumstances, the student has remained dedicated to her academic and extracurricular commitments. She has been an exceptional member of the school’s cheerleading team, which has served as a critical emotional outlet and source of stability and confidence during this challenging time. Unfortunately, the student's mother is not able to cover the costs for the cheerleading program for the upcoming school year which is totaled at $3,598.95. Due to financial constraints, the family is only able to contribute $500 toward this expense. We are also exploring fundraising opportunities at the school site to reduce some of these fees. We are requesting assistance to cover the remaining balance of $3,098.95 so that the student may continue participating in the program that plays such a significant role in her well-being and school engagement.

Continued participation in cheerleading will contribute positively to the student’s mental health, school attendance, and sense of belonging during her critical senior year.

We have a 19yo girl who chose to sign back into foster care after leaving an abusive relationship. She is attending her GED program 2x/wk and cares for her 9mo son. Currently she is in need of nice/professional clothes for job interviews. We are asking for a gift card to a store (Walmart/Target/etc.) to assist her with obtaining the clothes. We have a young widow, 33 yrs old, with three girls ages 11, 10, 8 years old in need of furniture, see listed needs. She graduated from Hope Gardens recently, is in school to complete her AA degree, and recently through the program was able get housing. This would help to create a comfortable living space for her and her daughters as she continues to futher her education and move forward in her healing and create a space for her daughters to thirve and grow.
