Mom and her children were living in a shed on her grandmother’s property until it was repossessed after Mom lost her job and could no longer keep up with the payments. With no other housing options, the family moved into a tent on the same property—just as rain was in the forecast for the upcoming weekend. Amid these challenging circumstances, Mom reached out to the director of a transitional living program for women. She was accepted and they are now residing at location. Mom has since started working, but she needs a pair of black non-slip shoes to meet work requirements, marking an important first step toward stable housing. Mom has a limited support system and tends to be wary of others due to difficult past experiences. While she may come across as guarded or abrasive at first, once she begins to trust someone, her humor and personality start to shine through. Girl, age 8, clothing size 8/9 and shoe size 3.5. Boy, age 5 , clothing size 7 and shoe size 2. Boy, age 7, clothing size 8 and shoes size 4 Mom wears shoe size 9.5 Girl, and boy age 5 have upcoming birthdays, but their mother is currently unable to afford birthday gifts, they need spring and summer clothing. Boy age 7 loves the color blue, boy age 5 likes green, and girl adores purple! They’re crazy about Legos, superheroes, electronics, and anything outdoors. Girl has a special love for cats, and they all enjoy pretty, shiny things, drawing, and snapping fun pictures.
