We have a family struggling with finances. Unfortunately their lights have been turned off. We are asking for assistance to get their lights turned back as they work through stabilizing the home.

We have a single mother with 4 children all under the age of 12 living in her car. We are working on placing wrap-around services for her and her children to stabilize them. we are asking for hotel stay to get this family off the streets to start working on creating a stable home for her and her children.

A compassionate non-relative caregiver has taken in 11-month-old twins and is struggling financially to meet their basic needs. She urgently needs two cribs with mattresses and bedding to provide safe sleep and to meet licensing requirements for financial support. A double stroller is also needed to safely transport the children outside the home. Your help would make a huge difference in creating a safe, stable environment for these little ones. Mother of three children is working full time and trying to provide for her children. Mother is needing an air conditioner for the house and a few fans since the home is two story. Mother is also looking for a new couch due to the couches that she has is falling apart and she does not have the funds to provide a new couch.

A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his children. He is in need of car seats for his 5 year old and 7 year old. The type of car seat that converts from a 5 point harness to a booster seat would be ideal. It would be a huge blessing for him to have these by June 6th so he can safely transport his children.

We’re reaching out on behalf of a beloved retired pastor and former U.S. Marine who served at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He’s now facing serious health issues, including bladder cancer, and chronic kidney disease linked to toxic water exposure during his service, in addition he’s had multiple strokes and has dementia. Though he qualifies under the Camp Lejeune Justice Act, he’s not yet received any compensation or VA benefits. He currently lives in a board and care facility, but his Social Security falls $800 short each month. His wonderful daughter, who visits and helps care for him, has been covering the difference. Unfortunately, she suffered a medical emergency in March and hasn’t been able to work and has had to move in with a friend. Due to errors in processing her short-term disability, she hasn’t received income since then. Her close friends stepped in to help cover the past 2 months but they can no longer continue. With 2 months of unpaid board and care approaching, no clear timeline for when she’ll receive payment, and no other options, she is extremely worried about how she’ll cover the costs for June and July. We’re working on VA benefits and finding a more affordable facility if her income isn’t restored soon, but that is a lengthy process. In the meantime, we’re asking for your help to keep this faithful man who gave his life to serving God and our country in his current facility and not be forced onto the street. A member of our church reached out to us as she is trying to help a single momma rebuild after abuse, marital separation, homelessness, and recently welcoming twin babies into the world. They were recently blessed with a safe place to stay, and someone has fronted three months rent on a place of their own, which they will be moving into next month. They have a long list of needs as when the twins entered the world two weeks ago she only had a onesie each. We understand we may not be able to fulfill every need but anything and everything collected is greatly appreciated.

Hello. Lighthouse Church has been assisting a family of 5 who was homeless after losing their housing which was already temporary. The family member that was hosting them was unable to continue providing them space in her home. Lighthouse has covered the cost for the family to stay in a hotel this week and helped to secure stable housing. The family was approved for an apartment! The family is from Honduras, mom, dad, and three kids ages 17, 12, and 9. Their 17 year old daughter needs a kidney transplant, please pray for her. The apartment is on the west side of Madison.
