Mother and 15 year old child have been treating their home for bed bugs. Bed bugs are currently confined to one bedroom. Family is requesting assistance with bed bug extermination or would be grateful if someone could help purchase bed bug sprays and bombs for the home so that they can continue to try to eradicate the bed bugs on their own. The expense of purchasing these items on an ongoing basis is causing a financial strain. They have been bombing as well as using diatomaceous earth to treat the problem. They have mattress encasements to protect the beds. They are also vacuuming and using high heat to treat as well. Anything to help the family stop the spread of the bed bugs and or eradicate them would be beneficial.

A mom is starting over and will need some items for their recently secure housing. She will need a dining room table, *triple bunk bed, and if possible queen bed frame.

The family is looking for other resources to pay, and the school social worker has referred them to Northland Miracles, but getting this paid for and helping them have a $0 balance as they head into July would relieve the stress on the entire family. We are requesting two Smart Compressor Dehumidifiers for the boys’ home. Oklahoma’s high humidity levels, especially during the summer months, can lead to unsafe moisture buildup in bedrooms and shared living spaces. This puts the children at risk for respiratory issues, mold exposure, and general discomfort.

These dehumidifiers will help regulate indoor humidity, protect air quality, and promote a healthier living environment for the boys in our care. Most importantly, this creates safer sleeping conditions and supports overall well-being, particularly for individuals with asthma or other allergies or sensitivities.

Meeting this need will directly improve the health and safety of our residents, allowing us to maintain a stable and nurturing home environment.

I have a great grandmother who is working to keep her grandchildren with her 1 boy and 1 girl. The grandmother does everything for these children with no help from the biological parents. These children have been through some tough times and their great grandmother has been there to love and care or them through these tough times. This great grandmother is on a fixed income and is needing some assistance getting school clothing and shoes for the children. This assistance will relieve some financial burden currently this grandmothers' only option is to spend bill money on the childrens school clothing and supplies, which we would like to avoid. This assistance will also provide the children with some self confidence knowing they are going to school with new, clean clothing that fit them properly allowing them to be comfortable with going to school. The children need clothing, shoes and school supplies either in the form of gift cards so the children can pick out their own clothing or if they receive clothing and shoes either will be appreciated by all. A father at Point Church has recently regained custody of his three children and could use some clothing items for them. He is in need of a few shirts, a few pairs of shorts, a pair of pajamas, a few pairs of socks and underwear, and a pair of shoes for his 5-year-old daughter (clothing size 5-6, shoe size 11-13), 7-year-old daughter (clothing size 8-10, underwear size 10-12, shoe size 12-13), and 10-year-old son (clothing size 14, shoe size 5). Secondhand clothing in good condition is fine. It would be a blessing for them to have these items by July 11.

Young Spanish speaking couple just had 3rd child 6 weeks ago. Momma has not been able to get back to work yet and they are struggling on one income to make rent due beginning of July! We have been connected to a family who is fostering through DHHS. This foster family has placement of 3 little children (ages from 4-8) that they are in the process of adopting. They had their washing machine and air conditioning break down in the same week and only had the funds to replace one, so they prioritized the air conditioning for the summer heat wave we had this past week. The family had a high capacity 5.3 cu-ft top-load washing machine to be able to meet with laundry demands of their family and would like their replacement to have a similar capacity and similarly top-loading. The youngest child has some higher needs and frequently wets the bed which requires regular use of a washing machine for larger bedding items. The family consulted a technician who reported the costs of the repair for the washing machine would be at least $800 and the technician recommended buying a new one over paying for repairs. The listed cost is for a 5.3 cu-ft top-load with delivery from Lowe's.

After leaving an abusive relationship four years ago and working hard to build a stable life, her safety has once again been compromised.
