Mom is a single mother working as a home health aid for her aging father. Mom has two kids, age 10 and 13. The 13 yr olds bed broke and he no longer has a bed . Financial resources are limited as mom pays for rent and other expenses on her own. This request will allow the child to sleep comfortably which will help with school attendance.

The child was placed with her grandparents where she shares a room with another child. The child is currently sleeping on a queen (or king)-sized bed that is shared with the other child that stays in the bedroom. The bunk bed will give both children their own safe sleeping space. This grandmother needs your help with a bunk bed frame and twin mattresses.

This caregiver has been impacted financially in caring for these children so suddenly. Her work hours were reduced to provide care to the children. In her commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and organized environment, she faces some challenges that impact the children’s day-to-day comfort and well-being. Specifically, she needs assistance to purchase a high chair and adequate clothing storage for the children. A high chair is essential for safe and comfortable feeding, especially for younger children who require support while eating. Without a proper high chair, mealtimes are difficult and unsafe. Additionally, adequate clothing storage is critical to maintaining organization and ensuring the children’s clothes are clean, accessible, and properly cared for. With three children, limited storage space leads to clutter and misplaced items. I have 3 children in a safety plan with their great uncle and his companion in Wister. The family is located off route 271 past the Leflore/Summerfield crossroads. There is 1 boy age 8 years old and 2 girls age 10 and 3 years old. The family is requesting help with food for the children, bath soap and toothpaste for the children. The great uncle and his companion both live off social security and any help would be a great help to the children staying in placement. The girls report that they like the smell of coconut and peach for body washes. The boy reports that he like body wash like Axe and Old Spice. The family didn't specify a type or flavor of toothpaste but it will be for children. The great uncle reports that the children eat quite frequently and he is going to see if he can get food assistance next week to help feed the children.

A hard working single mom of 4 children (age ranges between one and eleven) from the Goddard area has reached out for help. She works with foster children and cleans houses for income but stated that her work has slowed down this past month and she was unable to pay her electric bill. Initially she thought the company was going to work with her on lowering her payments but unfortunately the company is unable to accommodate. Her electricity is scheduled to be turned off on 6/5/25 if she is unable to pay the $347.00. Would anyone be willing to help this family?

A lady in a senior housing complex is in need of furniture and dishes for her apartment. She only has a bed and a tv. She is in need of dishes, sofa, table with chairs.

A mom at the apartments where we serve is in need of a bed. She has been having major issues with her back due to sleeping on her sofa. She does not work and cares for her disabled son. She is in need of a bed and dresser. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.

A member of our church is in need of assistance with his family's utility bill. This family has 6 children all under the age of 12. Both parents are employed and hardworking. Meeting this need will help alleviate this church family from this financial burden!
