Hope Pregnancy Center is a faith-based, pro-life organization existing to help young men and women who face unplanned pregnancies. There are a lot of really sweet parts of our ministry, but one of the sweetest things we get to offer is free photo shoots for the families who come through our program.

These photoshoots are entirely volunteer based, and we are in need of some more professional photographers willing to donate their time and skills.

Interested photographers are welcome to donate as much or as little time as they would like. Some photographers come in once a week, some once a month. Typically, we ask that each time photographers come in they stay for at least one hour. We are incredibly flexible, however, with our volunteer photographers. We understand that they are individuals donating their professional skills, and we can work with their differing availabilities.

Forsyth County DFCS is seeking transportation assistance for a bio mother with 2 children. She is currently residing in a hotel with her 2 children and does not have a car and needs to get to her doctor's office to pick up her medication for diabetes.

A single mother to three children is down on her luck. She recently lost her job due to having too many missed days of work because of her son's mental health needs and his many appointments. She has been applying for new jobs and having interviews but unfortunately has not been offered a position yet. She starts her summer college program to gain her certification as a substitute/ paraeducator next week. We hope this will open up many new windows for employment for her. She was able to make all bills the last two months as well as most of them for this month with the help of her income taxes. This money has now diminished to very little. She is needing help paying her rent of $700. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A single mother of three is in need of a double stroller to help get her young children to and from appointments. Mom has a one month old baby and a one year toddler in addition to a five year old. She could benefit from a double stroller with an infant seat.

A loving and hard working father has overcome a huge amount of adversity throughout his case, but recently encountered an unexpected financial barrier and as a result he is in need of urgent assistance with his electricity bill. This father has successfully changed his circumstances to provide a long term safe home for his children but is in need of assistance to get through this unpreventable bump in the road. This father has successfully been in trial reunification with his three children for about 5 months and is close to achieving a safe case closure. The amount due for the electric bill is $292.

We are reaching out for support for a resilient mother who is currently pregnant with her third child. This family is in urgent need of assistance as they face homelessness, although we are fortunate to have secured temporary housing help. However, they are in desperate need of adequate clothing, as they currently have only 1-2 pairs of clothes between them. As well as groceries for the family. We kindly ask for the community's support to help provide this family with the clothing and groceries they need to thrive during this challenging time. Your generosity can make a real difference!

We’ve come across a heartfelt situation involving a family that has graciously welcomed a 17-year-old boy into their home. This young man, who tragically lost his mother last year, has no family to care for him, and it was his kind classmate who opened their door to him. However, living in a small two-bedroom house has brought additional challenges for everyone involved. The family is currently facing financial difficulties, struggling to make ends meet, with groceries running low and falling behind on this month’s rent by $300. We’re reaching out to the community to kindly ask for support to help this family navigate this tough time. Your generosity could make a significant difference in their lives. The family has just welcomed a new infant in their home and a 17 year old boy.

A woman in Grace Church is caring for her wheel chair bound mother and needs a ramp built. She will provide funds for the ramp, just needs the building work done. As soon as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Urgent need for a refrigerator! Harpeth Hills Church of Christ has been assisting a struggling family, and their refrigerator suddenly stopped working. The husband has stage 4 cancer and is unable to provide for the family.

A courageous mother from Peru came to the United States a few years ago seeking a better life for herself and her three children, who are currently being cared for by her mother back home. Since arriving, she has faced some difficult challenges. As a survivor of domestic abuse, she found safety and support in a women’s shelter, where she stayed with her infant son.

She first started attending Mesa Church over a year and a half ago, initially connecting through the women’s group, where she found community and support. Since then, she has placed her faith in Jesus and was baptized in February, opening her heart to healing and new beginnings.

Now, with hope in her heart, she dreams of starting her own baking business to support her children and build a brighter future. She is moving into a new apartment this weekend with her 19-month-old son (wears size 6 diapers) and is in need of furniture and essential household items. If you’re able to donate any of the items listed, your support would have a profound impact on this new chapter of her life. Thank you!
