I have an upper elementary student who is in need of summer tutoring, but the family cannot afford to pay for it. We have been able to provide for half the cost which will provide for once-a-week tutoring but are looking for help to cover the other half which will cover the cost of providing tutoring twice a week.

This family consists of a single mom with a 13-year-old female child in need of support form the community. The family is asking for clothing for the child, who likes the colors pink and purple. She wears large shirts and her pants size is 12-14 women. The family is also in need of house hold items Pots, pans, silverware, bedding for a twin and full size bed, curtains, washcloths and dressers for storage of belongings.

A is a 16yo male who would really like to participate in a tennis skills camp at KU & we would like any help we could get with the expense of this camp.

He is already a varsity tennis player in his first year of tennis as a junior in high school. He is currently an excellent student - he will be doing his senior year this upcoming school year & taking college classes. He is a state choir student & really hopes to get scholarships for both choir & tennis.

We would need help buying a tennis racket (ranging $250 in expense) & his clinic camp at KU which is $625. Any portion of this need being met would greatly be appreciated. Thank you for your consideration.

A lovely family is providing respite for one of our foster families! They accepted a large sibling group, we have been able to provide them with plenty of meals and snacks since all of the kids are on summer break, they have made a small request for paper plates, paper towels, plastic silverware, plastic cups, just some items to make things a little easier with so many young kids in the house for an extended period of time! We appreciate your help!!

Urgent need for a refrigerator! Harpeth Hills Church of Christ has been assisting a struggling family, and their refrigerator suddenly stopped working. The husband has stage 4 cancer and is unable to provide for the family.

A courageous mother from Peru came to the United States a few years ago seeking a better life for herself and her three children, who are currently being cared for by her mother back home. Since arriving, she has faced some difficult challenges. As a survivor of domestic abuse, she found safety and support in a women’s shelter, where she stayed with her infant son.

She first started attending Mesa Church over a year and a half ago, initially connecting through the women’s group, where she found community and support. Since then, she has placed her faith in Jesus and was baptized in February, opening her heart to healing and new beginnings.

Now, with hope in her heart, she dreams of starting her own baking business to support her children and build a brighter future. She is moving into a new apartment this weekend with her 19-month-old son (wears size 6 diapers) and is in need of furniture and essential household items. If you’re able to donate any of the items listed, your support would have a profound impact on this new chapter of her life. Thank you!

A family of Seven is facing severe financial hardship, struggling to make ends meet despite ongoing efforts to find employment. Known in their community for giving back, volunteering and supporting the homeless, they now find themselves in urgent need. With rent due, utilities needed, and food scarce, their greatest concern is keeping a safe, stable home for their children- especially their youngest, just one year old.They are humbly asking for rent assistance , help with FPL bill, and food support to ensure their family remains housed and their children cared for as they navigate to bring stable income. Dear Team Sherry, this is our final update! Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy are packing and preparing for the big move at the end of June. Kaya and Kennedy will move into their grandfather’s home in Yorba Linda and commute to Saddleback College. Kennedy graduated high school, got her permit, and will have her license soon. Kaya is carefully planning her transfer to Fullerton College in another year. Cameron remains in New York and is doing well. Sherry will be moving to Nevada to live with a longtime friend. It’s an emotional shift after many years living together, but this past year has been a gift. Thanks to your support, Sherry provided a stable home, helped Cameron begin a new path, supported Kaya’s growth, and celebrated Kennedy’s graduation all in their family home. While the family will no longer live together, they’re ending this chapter with something meaningful: Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy will all serve as volunteers at Royal Family Kids Camp in late June. It’s a full-circle moment, as giving back to other foster families has always been a passion of theirs. Sherry says this year has been nothing short of a gift from God and that your generosity and prayers was the conduit of that blessing.
