The mother has been paying all the bills on her own while also providing for her child due to her significant other in between jobs. Her significant other did finally get a job but the first paycheck had to go to paying rent for the month of May this week and then they have to turn around and pay the month of June next week. They finally got themselves a car so they can work more hours and are needing help with tag and registration which will equal to about $450. Anything helps and thank you in advance!

Johnson County, Missouri Children's Division is moving two children to a new home. This placement also has the children's other 2 siblings. This move was unexpected and urgent, so the placement has tight funds to get the things they need. The family is requesting 2 bunk beds and 4 twin mattresses.

We are seeking help for a loving grandmother of six who needs an old, broken refrigerator removed from her home. Her family has done intensive case management to support her, but this task requires more hands and resources than they have. She is unable to move it herself due to health and mobility issues. Any assistance with removal and proper disposal would be deeply appreciated and make a big difference in her daily life.

Dear Team Sherry, this is our final update! Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy are packing and preparing for the big move at the end of June. Kaya and Kennedy will move into their grandfather’s home in Yorba Linda and commute to Saddleback College. Kennedy graduated high school, got her permit, and will have her license soon. Kaya is carefully planning her transfer to Fullerton College in another year. Cameron remains in New York and is doing well. Sherry will be moving to Nevada to live with a longtime friend. It’s an emotional shift after many years living together, but this past year has been a gift. Thanks to your support, Sherry provided a stable home, helped Cameron begin a new path, supported Kaya’s growth, and celebrated Kennedy’s graduation all in their family home. While the family will no longer live together, they’re ending this chapter with something meaningful: Sherry, Kaya, and Kennedy will all serve as volunteers at Royal Family Kids Camp in late June. It’s a full-circle moment, as giving back to other foster families has always been a passion of theirs. Sherry says this year has been nothing short of a gift from God and that your generosity and prayers was the conduit of that blessing. The client is seeking assistance with her South Central Power bill, which is scheduled for disconnection on June 3, 2025, due to a past-due balance of $349.60. She is able to contribute $100 toward the amount owed.

The client recently experienced significant hardship, including a divorce followed by a car accident that was not her fault. As a result, she was temporarily unable to work and fell behind on her bills. She has since returned to full-time employment and now has a sustainable income.

Given her current circumstances and demonstrated effort toward self-sufficiency, she has been referred to InterFaith for possible assistance.
