DCFS has a family who has 3 children and 3 of the kids do not have beds. The agency is asking for beds and mattresses to help assist this family. The kids in need of beds are 11(male), and 15 (male) 17(Female).

A hard working single mom of 4 children (age ranges between one and eleven) from the Goddard area has reached out for help. She works with foster children and cleans houses for income but stated that her work has slowed down this past month and she was unable to pay her electric bill. Initially she thought the company was going to work with her on lowering her payments but unfortunately the company is unable to accommodate. Her electricity is scheduled to be turned off on 6/5/25 if she is unable to pay the $347.00. Would anyone be willing to help this family?

Two young men, ages 10 and 15 recently moved to CO from TX to reside with their step mother. The boys came to CO with very little clothing and belongings. The step mom is asking for assistance buying some new clothes for the boys. The 15 year old is a bigger kid and needs big and tall clothes. She is requesting gift cards for any stores that have good clothes in the category Big and Tall,

The Department of Social Services is working with a family of 4, and one on the way.
Dad is disabled, and mother ability to work is restricted due to lack of transportation.
The family is asking for financial assistance to restore their electricity, as well as gas cards to help mom get to work as well as appointments.

Previously homeless and recently housed (praise the Lord!) Single father (a veteran) with 1 child. They are both in need of dressers for their rooms as well as a small dining room set (small table and 4 chairs) A twin bed set is also needed for the daughter. She is currently using a blow-up mattress. This father has been working very hard towards this housing; it is a great thing to be celebrated! ****Please note the valuations are based on new furniture- they will HAPPILY receive used donated furniture in good shape.

Loving kinship caregiver has legal custody of her cousin, age 14. Also in the home is caregiver's biological teenage child. Due to needing more space, caregiver purchased a new home. The family is getting settled in and some issues with the home have been identified. The washer has been draining in the crawl space. It is uncertain if there is a leak in a pipe or if the pipe is not connected to a drain. Caregiver also found that one part of the home has knob and tube electric. She is interested in seeing if this could be updated. Caregiver does not have the funds to get a plumber or electrician in the home at this time. Any help in having someone look at the situation to see if the drainage can be fixed or help updating the electrical would be appreciated.

A lady in a senior housing complex is in need of furniture and dishes for her apartment. She only has a bed and a tv. She is in need of dishes, sofa, table with chairs.

A mom at the apartments where we serve is in need of a bed. She has been having major issues with her back due to sleeping on her sofa. She does not work and cares for her disabled son. She is in need of a bed and dresser. Anything you can do to assist will be greatly appreciated.

A member of our church is in need of assistance with his family's utility bill. This family has 6 children all under the age of 12. Both parents are employed and hardworking. Meeting this need will help alleviate this church family from this financial burden!

We have an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of a single mother and her two young children. She’s working hard to provide for her family, but it’s tough to keep up with laundry when she can’t get to the laundromat. 
Right now, they’re sleeping on mattresses on the floor, and she’s seeking gently used washer and dryer units to ensure her kids have clean clothes. Additionally, bed frames would help restore their dignity and self-esteem.
