Family of 5 children and 1 adult are in need of a couch. One of the children are also in need of a twin bedframe/mattress/sheets/blanket and pillow.

We have a toddler who was suddenly unified with his father. The family is in need of a highchair to help with meal times and a baby walker to help withe strengthening his legs and learning to walk.

A single mother of two children ages 4 yrs and the other 11 months are in need of help with a large daycare bill. The children's grandmother was the primary childcare until she had a stroke. The children's mother had to use childcare to continue working and wasn't able to get on subsidy in the beginning she is now on subsidy, but has a back bill of $1430.00. She is a steadily employed and needs help getting caught up to continue to be able to put her children in the daycare and continue working.

We have three brothers whose foster parents need some outdoor toys to keep them busy outside. Their wish list includes, a water table, a tricycle for a 5 YO boy, sandbox, and an up and down roller coaster kids ride. The boys are physically delayed and would benefit greatly from gross and fine motor stimulation outside.

I am working with a client who is a single mother to 3 children. She is working to find stability again after a difficult relationship with her ex has left her in financial distress. Client works full time and is currently living with a friend in order to save up enough money to obtain housing of her own. However, she currently owes money to her prior residence. She has communicated with her landlord about her circumstances and the unfortunate situation she found herself. The landlord has agreed that if she were able to pay off $450 he will submit a reversal of judgment and clear her record of eviction. We are requesting $450 to be paid to her landlord to give client the fresh start she needs for her and her family. This would be very impactful for clients future housing stability. It would allow client to be free from the burden of eviction and free from all of the barriers that would follow for years to come.

We are supporting a single mother who has recently reunited with her children with weekly meals and a prayer team. She has requested assistance with her utility bill to get caught up. If you are able to help strengthen this bio family with financial contributions, we will contact you to log on to the City of Monroe website to pay the bill directly.

As you may be aware, Dave Petke is in the hospital with a UTI and blood pressure problems. Sharon is not able to be at the hospital all the time, it wears her out and her health is not good enough for her to be there with him all the time. She’s tried just calling to check in, this morning she sat on hold for 45 minutes and had to call back three times before she finally got someone to answer. Someone is needed this week to sit with Dave each day between the hours of 8am-12pm to give Sharon time to get ready and get over there each day to be with him. Please do not share this need beyond our church family. You will be contacted with specifics of where to go when you select your day. Thank you!

I am working with a awesome, hard working Single mom that does amazing work helping others in the community is now facing some hardships. She and her family attended, participated wholeheartedly and graduated from our 14-week Strengthening Family Program and has been an outspoken advocate for family wellness. She was recently put in a very hard situation and received news that her landlord is selling her home expectantly, and she was put in a time crunch and after searching and searching for a new place she found one and has to come up with a deposit of $1000 to hold the unit. After talking with the new homeowner, he stated she could allow her to pay $500 by Monday 6/9/25 and the other $500 by Friday 6/13/25. If you can help, please be a blessing to this mom, please, she has helped so many families in her line of work, and she has just paid her rent where she is currently living and does not have the money for her deposit. If you could please help her so she and her children are not put out on the street, and can move into their new home. Anything you can donate would be a great help. Thank you!

One of our newly arrived families has moved into apartments that have no air conditioning and the family has no fans. We all know how hot it gets and the adults and the children can get overheated. If anyone can provide a free standing or window air conditioner or a couple fans, that would be wonderful. Thank you

I am reaching out on behalf of one of our Children’s Church students who is currently in foster care. Her mother has recently secured employment and is in the process of transitioning to a new home. While this is a positive step forward for their family, it has also placed a significant financial strain on them. Due to these circumstances, the family is unable to afford the registration fee for summer camp. However, we strongly believe that this child would greatly benefit from the experience—emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Camp would provide her with a safe, uplifting environment and a chance to grow in confidence and faith during a time of major life change.
