Story
I’m currently assisting a mother of three very young children who is actively seeking employment. She has been working with CareerSource Palm Beach County in her job search, but during this time, she has fallen behind on her utility bill and recently received a final disconnection notice.
Unfortunately, she does not have the funds to pay the past-due balance of $233.65 and will not receive her first paycheck in time to prevent the power from being shut off—even if she were to start working immediately. Without electricity, she will face significant challenges in continuing her job search and ensuring a safe environment for her children.
We are urgently seeking assistance to help cover this bill and prevent disconnection. Any support to help this family keep the lights on would be greatly appreciated.
