A family been reunified and have moved into their own home and need assistance with a few things for their new home.

17 year old youth was recently reunified with his birthmother and the department is in the process of dismissing the case. The family has moved into their own apartment and are in need of a new couch as the one they currently own has broken. Birthmother is working full time while her son attends school and is on a tight budget in order to meet their needs in the home. The apartment is small so they are in need of a couch that will fit in their apartment.

There is a grandmother who is caring for her 2-year-old grandson as the mother and father are not capable of taking care of the child. In order to prevent the child entering foster care the grandmother is asking for a few items for the child. He was homeless with his parents and arrived at the grandmother with nothing. The child is in size 5 diapers, size c9 shoes and size 2t-3t clothing and socks. Wash cloths and towels. A gift card for the grandmother would be appreciated as well so that she may purchase the items.

5 children are in need of summer clothing and shoes. Mom Just got a new job and was homeless. She has been saving all her money to try and find a place to live.

62231414-A compassionate and devoted family has opened their hearts and home to care for their two young cousins, ages 10 and 11, in addition to raising their two biological children. One of the children placed with them has some behavioral challenges, but the family has worked hard to secure the appropriate help and support for the child.

This family is doing their absolute best to provide for all four children, but recently lost the financial assistance they were receiving for the two cousins, making it difficult to meet basic needs. Despite the hardship, they remain committed to creating a stable and loving environment for every child in their care.

Currently, the family is in urgent need of home repairs, including: A broken back door with deteriorating edges Cracking siding on the home A leaking main shower and a children’s shower that is also leaking and missing tiles A broken garage door opener A damaged window Concerns with their well water system, which was recently repaired but may still need work

In addition to the repairs, the family is struggling with food insecurity due to the increase in household size. The main caregiver is scheduled to undergo surgery soon, which will temporarily reduce the family to a single income, adding more strain to their situation.

I am requesting funding to help a 14 year old girl attend summer camp. She currently lives with her mother and older brother who is experiencing job and housing insecurity. The older brother is in and out of the home as he deals with staying out of the gang life. Despite all that she is dealing with this young lady continues to maintain her grades in school and a positive outlook on her situation. Attending camp will give this young lady a much needed reprieve from the current home situation and give her the encouragement that she needs to continue building on personal resilience and independence. Restore has been working with a family of two adults and 3 young children to assist them in getting settled in their new apartment. They lost their housing assistance in KS due to making too much income. They ended up having to move from KS to a cheaper apartment in MO. Both parents work - but with the expense of deposits, the move and cost increase of rent almost doubling, they are struggling to get on their feet. They found a way to make the deposits and initial rent but that really depleted them. This month they have been able to come up with all but $500 to cover the rent and utilities. We would like to help them with the remainder so they do not get behind and incur late fees. Once they get over the hump, they should be able to handle the expenses moving forward. If you would like to assist with any amount, it would be appreciated. This is a family we are walking beside and connecting with frequently hoping to show them support and the love of Christ. Please pray for them as they transition through many changes.

An EP apartment complex that the Wooddale Housing Assistance program partners with is starting a community garden for its residents. From the project leader: "This Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 or 12pm, we will be pulling weeds and getting the garden ready. After that I will purchase plants, dirt and mulch. Anyone that participates, can reap the benefits of the garden. Please let me know if anyone would like to assist or can even offer advice."

One of our partners has a mom who is expecting a baby on 7/9/25 who is in need of the following items. Mom is currently struggling financially and lacks family and friends’ support. She is anxious about not having anything for her little bundle of joy. Any help with the above items will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
