An expecting mom who aged out of the foster system is in need of a stroller that can support her and her baby through the newborn stage. Ideally, we're looking for a stroller that either comes with an infant car seat—something safe, functional, and convertible to help her transition from hospital visits to everyday outings with ease. As she prepares to welcome her baby mid June 2025, she’s doing her best to gather the essentials on a limited budget. Any support from the community would make a huge difference. A mother and father of 5 children, ages 5, 2, 1, and a set of 4 month old twins that were born prematurely, are in need of 3 twin sized mattresses. Due to inconsistent income, they do not have the ability to purchase them on their own at this time. The mother and children need groceries and basic food items to provide them with nutritious meals for the month. The mother moved she and the children to a new home where rent is now higher and as a single mother without government assistance, she has not been successful in meeting all needs with her employment salary. Mother case recently opened and per her case plan goals, she enrolled in individual counseling. Furthermore, caregiver is committed to maintaining the family together. The main reason I am requesting this need to be fulfilled is to ensure safe environment for the children. DCFS is requesting improve parental capacity and enhancement of the mother to provide the children permanency, to foster emotional well-being. The children need to have a home with sufficient food to ensuring that the have a healthy environment. DCFS has assisted the family by providing referrals to programs. DCFS will continue to link the family to community services such as food banks, counseling, etc. in order to ensure the family continues in maintenance. The estimated cost of the need/s being requested is $400 worth of food market.

Parents ages 52 and 44 years old have stated that they need financial support repairing their truck. Parents have stated that they can fix and repair the truck themselves with the help of their friends however, they need assistance paying bus tickets to get to Denver Colorado from Fountain Colorado. Parents would like assistance in obtaining bus passes to get to their daughters birthday party this weekend. Thank you for your assistance.

At Hope Pregnancy Center, we support young men and women in the midst of unplanned pregnancies. We support them by offering parenting classes. During the classes, parents can earn points and spend them on items in our boutique full of necessary baby items. We regularly need to keep the boutique stocked with so many different diaper sizes. Right now, we are completely out of the largest sizes (size 5 and size 6 diapers). We would love to have these items restocked before our next class time next week. Providing diapers to these young families is incredibly valuable! Diapers are incredibly costly in a baby's first year of life, and by providing them, you can alleviate a great deal of financial stress.

Mom with 2 children, ages 5 and 13 is having financial difficulty due to being out of work and food stamp scam. She has been in training for a job at a new Sheetz near her home, but employment has been delayed due to delay of the opening. She does have cleaning jobs on the side, but this doesn't provide a lot of income. She lost $975 in food stamps due to a recent scam. Her critical need at this time is for her electric bill to be paid to prevent disconnection. She needs $1395 to pay in full.

A brave mom in our church community has endured years of physical and emotional abuse. Just four days after undergoing a double mastectomy for breast cancer, her husband threatened her with a weapon. She fled for her safety, obtained a restraining order and filed for divorce. They share two daughters, ages 9 and 3. Her husband is now seeking full custody of their daughters and he’s spreading false claims to their 9 year-old that her mom doesn’t want to see her. This has caused deep emotional trauma for their daughter. While the court has ordered joint custody for now, mother and the 9 year old daughter are in reunification counseling, which costs $1,000 a month paid by the mom alone. The father, who is on disability for severe mental illness, lives with his parents, who are covering his legal fees. He pays no child support or alimony. Meanwhile, the mom is also on disability during cancer treatment and receives just 30% of her salary. She’s facing mounting legal fees in her fight to protect and reunite with her daughters. She is currently $1,100 short on rent due to a recent attorney payment. She needs urgent financial support to cover her rent. This young man is a junior in high school. The student lives between his parents house and grandparents house. His grandmother has been experiencing some health challenges since that end of last year and this has taken a noticeable on this young man. The added cost of medical expenses for grandmother has left nothing to go towards extra curricular activities. As a result the student has begun to sell snack items at school to help support himself. This young man would benefit greatly by attending summer camp and be encouraged in his pursuit of high school graduation. This opportunity would be a light at the end of a very dark for this young man and serve as a reminder that hard work pays off not just in the future but now.

This request is on behalf of a 17 year old high school student. This student is the oldest of 4 siblings and currently lives with their mother and father. The mother is not involved in the student's life and leaves the majority of the day to day responsibility to the father to care for and provide for the student and his younger siblings. Student does well in school and has been prioritizing his grades and school work. The student has expressed interest in going to summer camp but does not have the funds to attend. Attending summer camp would give the student much needed encouragement to continue to work hard towards his future goal of playing football at the college level.

I am submitting this request on behalf of a high school female with special needs. The family recently moved from out of state and was staying at a local shelter before being placed in permanent housing. The family consist of mother, father and 4 children. All the children have varying disabilities. Currently mother is the only income earner for the family. This young lady would greatly benefit from attending summer camp where she can participate in age appropriate activities with her peers and get specialized support from a camp counselor. This will also allow for the mother and father to have a reprieve while they attend to the needs of the other children.
