During the school year there are always boys that need someone to provide encouragement and support during after-school study time (3:45-4:30). It may be possible to arrange for tutoring later in the day if that is a need for you. While having the ability to tutor in academic subjects is helpful, there is a significant value in simply providing support that will help a boy stay focused on schoolwork for 30 minutes. School is a challenge for many of our boys, so this is a significant way to contribute to a youth's growth.

The wonderful relative caregiver has placement of her 3-month old grandson. The grandson continually spits up and has had to change formulas numerous times, as he has acid reflux. The baby was checked by a GI doctor and the Dr. has asked the grandmother to try blending his milk and cereal to see if he will keep it down, as it will be thicker. The grandmother has asked for assistance obtaining a blender- any help is greatly appreciated!

There are currently 7 boys at one of our residential facilities that have jobs. We expect that number to increase. Keeping up with transportation is a complex challenge for our staff. Being a volunteer transport driver for a boy meets a significant need for both the youth and staff. It also opens the door to having a trusting relationship with these youth. There are various times of day and evening that have transportation needs. Please contact us for more specific information.

Five children were removed exigently. two sets of twin bunk beds are requested to give each child their own bed/space in a kinship home.

This foster family has two teen girls who they would love to take on camping trips with them. Both girls have never gone camping and the providers love to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. They are in need of a sleeping bag for each girl and tent they can share in order to make these trips happen. Any help would be appreciated!

A family from our team is taking a little girl who needs a safe place, whom we met through our CarePortal connection with the Yada Project. This sweet 3-year-old is full of energy and joy. This placement has come up very unexpectedly, and we would love to come alongside this family as they see what God is doing. Some helpful items would be a toddler stroller that is easy to fold, a toddler bed with bedding, 4T summer/fall clothes for a little girl, and size 10 sandals. She loves purple, pink, and anything "pretty." Gently used is fine. Additionally, if anyone has any extra toys lying around that they would like to give away:).

This family has secured an apartment but cannot afford to fully furnish it. Dad, recently lost his job, rent is paid for this month. They need a sofa, beds, kitchen utensils, and the basic items for living. The children are ages 9 and 4, and grandma lives with them as well. They've been coming to Lighthouse Church as a result of using the pantry on site.

A blessed opportunity to help a young, Christian family make it through a very difficult time in the heat of summer. A mother and father trying to secure a roof over their young children and feed their family. Tragically, the mother just lost her baby during delivery; father had to take time off from work to take care of her. He is back working but they are behind a few paychecks.

They need help to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks while they save money to rent an apartment (the apartment isn't ready yet). They could also use help with essentials and food.

If we can help them now, it will stabilize their income and resources for the future.

A family recently had to flee their family home and move into an apartment to escape domestic violence. They are starting over and need basic cleaning items, household items, toiletries, and grocery items. A Walmart gift card would greatly assist this family. Any donation is appreciated.

Single mother is in the process of moving into more affordable housing and working to improve her financial situation. She is experiencing major health issues which make it difficult for her to work and support her middle school aged daughter. She could use some help with some utility bills this month.
